"Shit" I cursed under my breath, as I kept my pen on the table and rubbed my eyes. I have been trying to solve this maths problem since a long time now and yet I can't find the correct answer.
My hands reached my hair, I was basically pulling my hair. Why is maths such an irritating subject? I was good in maths till grade 10th after that maths became worst and worst and worst. It used to be my favourite subject but not any more. Because maths makes me wanna cry and throw myself away. "I can't do this" I muttered, I was about to close the book when I heard the doorbell ring.
"Who is here? And that too at time time?" I got up from the chair and made my way to the main door. I opened the door just to see Taehyung. "Oh hey Taehyung" I said. "Hey Y/n how are you?" Taehyung asked "I am fine and you?" I asked "I am great" He said. "Come inside" I said as I made way for Taehyung so that he could come inside the house.
"What brings you here?" I asked him. "Jungkook said that you were having so much trouble with maths so I am here to help you" He said. "Oh yeah I am. By now the level of hating maths has reached the skies for me" I muttered as Taehyung giggled. "So let's solve all your problems shall we?" he asked. I nodded my head, we both walked into the dinner area where I was solving maths.
"Do you want something to drink or eat?" I asked. Taehyung gazed at me. "No, nothing for now, i guess " He said, typical Taehyung he will always say no if I ask him for something but I know for a fact that he is hungry. "Let's get started then" he said. "Wait a minute" I walked towards the kitchen and grabbed a snack for him with a strawberry milkshake.
"Here you go" I placed the snack and milkshake in front of him. He gazed at me "Have it I know you are hungry mister I don't want any excuses okay, have it and then we can do maths" I said. "Y/n but maths-" taehyung said "can wait. Now eat!" I folded my hands. "You are really a mini Jungkook," Taehyung said. "Of course I'm afterall he is my brother" I said proudly. " You Eat, by that time I will try to solve this again" I added as I took a seat beside him and also took my books in front of me.
Taehyung took the snack and began to eat and I began to do the boring maths problem. "Shit again" I muttered, gaining Taehyung's attention. "What's wrong?" he asked, he was already done eating. "This problem is making me go crazy" I said.
Taehyung took the book in his hand. He was reading something. "Got it" he said, I looked at him. He took my rough book. "Come close and see" he said as I leaned closer to him just to see what he was doing in the book. He explained to me the solution very amazingly. "Oh got it" I said. "Thank you" I looked at him, just to find him already looking at me. I realised that our visages were way too close to each other.
My eyes were locked with his. I am completely lost in his eyes. My heart began to skip a few beats. My cheeks began to heat up so I broke eye contact with him. "I w-will try out other problems" I cleared my throat, I took my book towards me and began to do the problems. This time I got the solution correct. "I got the correct answer" I said happily. "Good job Y/n" Taehyung smiled at me before clapping his hand.

"All thanks to you I was able to complete these maths problems" I thanked him. "Thank you for taking time out of your hectic schedule just to help me" I thanked him again. "It is completely fine Y/n, if you have doubts in future be it maths or any subject feel free to call me. I will be there for you wherever you need me" Taehyung smiled at me.
That sentence was enough for me to lose all my cools in front of him. "I will let you know" I said, managing myself mentally. "Okay, I wanted to say that Jungkook messaged me saying that he wants you ready for the dinner he is going to take you out for dinner" Taehyung said. "Okay thank you for informing me." I said.
"Have a good night" Taehyung said "You too" I said. "See you tomorrow" he muttered loud enough for me to hear. Huh ? See me tomorrow. Is he planning to come here tomorrow? Of course he might as this is his best friend's house. He can come any time he wants right? Yes Y/n now stop thinking that he will be here for you tomorrow. I looked around just to see him already gone.
I closed the door and walked to my closet and began to get ready. Today's outfit was all by gucci. I wore an extra fine wool top in black I tucked the top inside my cotton canvas skirt with pleats. For shoes I took the women's GG sneaker in white by gucci. I had put my hair into a ponytail but I did not like how it looked so I decided to let my hair free.
I looked at my reflection and smiled. I have been smiling a lot since I came here to live with Jungkook. After dad left us, Jungkook became a protective brother. He made sure that I have everything I need. I know that he has a fear of losing me but I am not going to leave him for anything. After all, I am his only family and he is mine.
Shaking my thought, I walked downstairs and waited for him to show up. "I am home, bunny" Jungkook said. "Welcome home Kook" I went to him and gave him a tight hug. I always do that after he comes back. "I missed you sis" Jungkook said "i missed you too" I muttered. It is common between Jungkook and I to say I miss you and I love you. I broke the hug when he said
"Let me get freshen up and then we will go for dinner, okay?"
"Okay" I nodded my head as he went upstairs.
