STUCK || CHANLIX Story [COMPLETED]

Felix woke up with an excruciating headache, opening his swollen eyes from all the crying, he looked around the room he was in, and realized with relief, that he's at Hyunjin's place .

He sat up on the bed, plunging in deep thoughts, when the bedroom door suddenly opened, and in entered a smiling Hyunjin, carrying a tray containing some fruit salad and a glass of juice. Felix gave him a weak smile, as Hyunjin placed the tray onto the nightstand and sat next to him.

"Hey baby.. how you feeling hmm?", he asked the dazed felix. "How did I get here, what happened, what time is?", he asked Hyunjin who's expression immediately became concerned.

Hyunjin cleared his throat, "It's past 8pm at night. Felix you fainted, and you were asleep for about 4 hours. Changbin and I decided to wait on you in our car after Chan told us to give you guys a moment to talk alone

"after a while, we suddenly saw Chan striding fast towards his car, but you were nowhere to be seen", he paused before continuing, "So I asked Changbin to help me go look for you, only to find, you fainted on the floor with one of the campus security guards trying to wake you up."

Hyunjin's face went from calm to anger, "Oh I could kill Chan right now leaving you like that. Anyways, we explained to the security guard that we are friends of yours and we'll be taking you home."

"SoBinnie and I grabbed you and placed you in the car, while deciding where to drop you. And knowing how your parents are, I decided we take you to my place."

Felix sat there with wide eyes not recollecting what happened, because after seeing Chan drive away, that's when everything faded to black. Felix started crying as he placed his hands on his face.

"I'm sorry Hyunjin for what I put you and Binnie through, I don't know why I cry so much and feel so emotional with everything lately", he said before putting his hands down to face his friend.

Hyunjin frowned before asking, "What happened to you two, to make that jerk leave you like that?". Felix began sob as he explaind to Hyunjin everything that went on between him and Chan, leaving nothing out. He faced Hyunjin again.

"Hyunjin, do you think it was my fault, was I selfish for not considering on running away with him, is he mad at me, am I a bad boyfriend?", he asked as he wept on.

"What, No, and Chan should've know better than to walk off like that. He should've given you a chance to think this over, because running away is not a the same as moving in with someone, it's a risky and big change in your lives, which you both don't know if it'll work or not!".

"Chan is just stubborn for his own good and he knows it. His has us, his friends who would've helped you guys out with shelter, food and more until you back on your feet. Running away is never a solution Lix, trust me." he said patting his head.

Suddenly Felix got up with a nervous expression on his face, and began searching around for something, on the bed, floor, nightstand and his clothes, before Hyunjin pulled his hand, making Felix face him.

"What are you looking for Lix, Chan's not here?", he said jokingly, giving him a smirk. "Not now Jinnie, I'm looking for my phone, where is it?", he asked, and smiled when he saw his backpack on the sofa, searching it as well and found it.

After retrieving it, he went back to sit next to hyunjin on the bed, while holding the phone against his chest, then turned to face Hyunjin In distress. "I want to call him Jinnie, I want him back", he said as tears began to form again.

"NO FELIX! you not gonna call him. He needs to grow up and wake the hell up, not everything is about him. He left you all by yourself just because you're against his ridiculous plan. Let him call you if he's serous about you. And stop crying so much you gonna get sick!", he stated while rubbing Felix's back.

Then to their surprise, the phone suddenly rang, causing Felix to immediately check the caller I.D., which to his relief was Chan. Felix asked Hyunjin if he could give them a moment. Making the pouting and snorting Hyunjin stand up, leaving the room.

Felix took a breath before pressing the answering button, "Channie, where are you?", he asked in sadness, but furrowed his eyes hearing weird noises and sounds coming from Chan's other end.

There was silence, causing Felix to check his phone if chan's still there. Then he heard sobbing sounds on the other end. 'Is Chan crying?' he asked himself. The then heard Chan clearing his throat.

"Felix, I'm at the airport now, I'm about to board!". Silence ensued again amongst them, while Felix began to tremble in panic, trying to digest what he just heard. Then Chan decided to speak.

"Lixie, I can turn back, just say the word. We could go with my plan and runaway please, this our last resort!", he pleaded in a trembling voice. Felix placed a hand over his mouth trying to suppress his weeping state.

Felix swallowed his cries, "Chan, baby listen to me, forget your father, I spoke to our friends, they agreed to let you crash at their places for the time being, while you can later on finish your subjects online, so you can get your degree and graduate, what do you think?".

He bit his dry lip as he waited anxiously and eagerly for Chan's response, praying that he'll stop being stubborn and agree to this plan. There was silence once again, then sobbing sounds can be heard coming from Chan's line.

Felix felt another excruciating pain on his stomach hearing that announcement. "Chan, Chan, did you hear me?", he asked as he stood up from the bed pacing back and forth.

"I heard you Felix, but I'm not gonna live a life of begging and asking handouts from my friends while also invading the privacy of their homes. Thats just not for me". He said in a calm tone.

Felix sat back on the bed, feeling tired and distressed at Chan's response. "Chan not everything will always be like that, plus they came up with that idea, they want you here, we all want you here, especially me, I'm also trying for us too." he began to weep uncontrollably.

He heard Chan take a deep breath. "It's either we go with my plan, run away together and figure things out as we go along, Or I'm boarding that plane right now, so make your choice Felix!".

Felix began crying out loud while trembling, as anxiety, uncertainty and hesitation came into his mind. "Chan please, let just..", before he could finished his sentence, Chan Hung Up. Leaving a distraught and devastated Felix, who still had his phone in his ear, calling at Chan's name over and over again.

***Airport scene ***

Chan looked at a picture he took with Felix then placed it back on his wallet. He took out his phone, taking out the sim card and toss them both in a trash can.

He entered the plane with tears falling in his eyes. He felt really disappointed and let down by Felix, as he was his reason for his living and breathing. But if Felix can't be with him, then it's not worth staying. He was angry, not only at Felix but the whole situation. He was not raised to beg for help or handouts, hence thinking the right thing was running away with Felix, but not realizing it was his selfishness and stubbornness thinking.
