STUCK || CHANLIX Story [COMPLETED]

Three days have passed after the incident between the best friends and Felix didn't show up for the lectures. Hyunjin never stopped calling him, only to get a voicemail. He felt like crap for disappointing his friend.

Hyunjin, jisung and i.n. even tried checking up on him at his home, only to be told by his parents that he's not feeling well and doesn't want any visitors. Leaving his friends saddened, especially Hyunjin.

It was a Thursday night at the Lee's residence and almost dinner time. Felix's parents notified Felix via text to come join them for dinner and they'll be having a family meeting, they also made sure to specify that they will not accept his decline this time. And so, he joined them unwillingly.

It was quiet at the dinner table and his father decided to speak up. "Son, me and your mother have been talking. You haven't been attending classes since Monday, you either eating in your room or not at all, closing yourself off. We are worried about you,....

"therefore, since you said you've been feeling sick, we decided to take you to the doctor's tomorrow, for a checkup". Felix widened his eyes at hearing this. He raised his head up and looked at both his parents nervously.

"D..dad, Mom, I'm fine, I think I'm just overwhelmed with the finals and all, I don't need a doctor really", he said anxiously. His mother placed her hand on his, looking at him with sorrow.

"Honey, you're not fine, you've lost weight, you bearly eat, and we can hear you most of the times crying in your room. If not the doctors, then you're seeing a therapist, your choice!", Mrs Lee stated before eating her meatloaf.

Felix realized he needed to come up with a solution or a plan fast. He looked at both his parents again, as they continued digging into their food. He closed his eyes, then took a breath before clearing his throat to speak.

"Mom, Dad, I think I might have prostate cancer", he stated as he lowered his head again, his heart beating fast, praying they believe his lie. Both his parents froze at the shocking news and stared at him. "OH my God, my baby", Mrs Lee cried as she quickly stood up and kneeled next to Felix in order to embrace him.

His father placed his fork and knife down, wiped his mouth before facing Felix in sadness. "Son, are you sure, how long have you known?" he asked. Realizing his parents bought his lie, Felix raised his head, facing his kneeling mother and seated father next to him before replying.

"I... have a lump on my, testicle, and it's been growing", he lied, as he started to fake cry in order to get some sympathy. Felix's mother covered her mouth in horror, "Oh my poor baby, let me check, let mommy see," she said tilting her head down as she tried to open the his pants.

"Mom, Stop!", Felix yelped as he swatted his mom's hands due to embarrassment. He decided to stand up inorder to get away from his concerned mother. "Mom, Dad, please don't worry, I already have a booking to get checked tomorrow", he stated.

His mom began to sob even louder, still kneeling by his chair. Felix went to squat next to her rubbing her back, reassuring her and his father that his gonna be okay, and told them he just got scared and depressed seeing the lump, hence the crying, closing himself off and not attending lectures.

After his mom calmed down, they all sat quietly at the dinner table, no one touching their food. His dad cleared his throat, "Do you need us to go with you, I think you might need some sort of support, we should've asked you about this long ago, we are sorry son", he said trying to hold back his tears.

Felix had his head down again, playing with the hem of his t-shirt, feeling like crap for lying to his parents this way, but did he have a choice? "It's okay dad, I want to go by myself, really, but I'll tell you everything when I return after the check-up", he said still keeping his head down.

At night time, he's parents finally went to bed, while Felix stayed up, searching on his laptop. He paused when he saw directions to an abortion clinic 2 hours away from his home and campus. He already made the decision during dinner time that he had no other choice. He lost Chan, he can't lose his parents too.

After going to bed, he cried himself the whole night, debating in his mind if getting an abortion is the right thing to do or not. He placed his hands on his stomach while laying on his back as he continued weeping.

"I'm sorry my baby, I'm so sorry for being a coward. I'm afraid, I'm all alone, how will I raise you right without money, job or a father. I'm sorry for being such a disappointment to you. Please forgive me for having to do this", he stutterd with hiccups from too much crying before drifting off to sleep in despair.
