In The BioShip

"Good, They're leading us to Lagoon Boy and the others" Dick said as he looked at a holoscreen. "I don't understand why I had to come along if you weren't going to deploy me" I huffed as I looked away from my brother. "Because your temporary role is Mission Control and moral support" Dick said as he smirked. "I may be pregnant but I won't hesitate to kick your ass" I said as he nervously laughed. "How can you be sure that we are being led to them" Cassie asked as our attention was brought back to the mission. "Wishful thinking" Dick said as I nodded. "And the, uh, abductee shipment to the docks? How did you know about that?" Cassie asked him. "Yeah Dick? How did you know about that?" I asked him tauntingly. "Aquaman came across the intel while searching for La'gaan" he said as he lied right to Cassie's face. "Get ready kiddies" I said as we dived into the water near Black Manta's base. The BioShip was camouflaged of course. "So this is the Light's partner" Dick said as we stared at the base. It was kinda boring looking, it was extremely basic.

"That ship shares the same alien design sensibility as the bombs that destroyed Malina island and Mount Justice" I said as me and Dick shared a look. "Kinda reminds me of Blue's armor" Cassie said as she looked at the ship before looking back at us. "Miss M, you're up" Dick said to the Martian as she shapeshifted her body so she had gills. She pulled up her hood and camouflaged herself before density shifting out of the BioShip. "Alpha squad, I'm heading into the alien ship" M'gann said over the telepathic link. "Are you aboard?" Miss M asked as I crossed my fingers. "Affirmative. We're in some kind of docking bay" I heard Barbara say as I breathed a sigh of relief. They were okay. "We have a visual on the new aliens aka the Krolotean's competitor aka the Light's partner" Barbara said as I shook my head. "You really need to work on getting to the point Babs" I said as Dick nodded. "And we've got other company. It's Aqualad, if he makes us , we're over" Barbara said as me and Dick looked at each other. "Stay whelmed, he won't be looking for you" Dick instructed to them.

"Just don't attract attention" I said to them. "I've found Gar and Bart" Miss Martian said over the link as we focused on what she had to say. "They're unconscious but alive" she said as I smiled. "Thank god" I muttered as I glanced over at Dick. "No sign of Jaime or La'gaan" she said as I listened. "We've got eyes on Lagoon Boy and...Shimmer?" Barbara said as me and Dick shared a confused look. "Uh, plus four civilians and all the teens we came with" she explained to us. "We're unsupervised now but Blue's still unaccounted for and escape could trigger response. Do we wait?" Barbara asked as I looked at Dick and we nodded in agreement. "Negative alpha" Dick said to them as I looked forward. "Make your move before you need rescuing too" I added. "You too Miss M. Get our boys" Dick instructed to her. "Docking bay secured" Conner said as I smiled. "This might be just as good as being apart of the action" I said to Dick as he smiled. "Emphasis on might be" I added as he chuckled. "Nice timing handsome" Karen said as I am assuming she met up with Superboy.

"Docking now" Dick said as he lowered the BioShip to the alien ship. "Alright people let's move" Cassie yelled as she opened the hatch. I watched as the captives and heroes alike ran onto the BioShip. "M'gann, where are you guys?" I asked her over the link. "I think the link's down" I said to Dick as I turned to face him. "What the fuck is going on?" I said as I watched the hatch close, separating us from the others. "This is not good" Dick said as I gave him a look. "Yeah, no shit" I said as I rolled my eyes. "We're sealed out of the docking bay" I heard Gar say signaling to me that the link was back up. "What's going on in there?" Gar asked us. "Don't know, I'm cut off aboard the BioShip" Dick said as he placed his hands on the wall that was separating us from them. "We're fighting Black Beetle and Shimmer. Lagoon Boy, Robin, and Bumblebee are already down and- Conner look out" Gar yelled as Dick looked at the wall worriedly and placed his closed fists onto it. I was starting to worry about them too, I was scared.
