In Bludhaven

"Nice. Perfect cover for our new digs" Mal said as we hopped out of the Supercycle and Dick opened the door to a warehouse. "On the outside, I mean it's down right nasty" Mal said as he looked at it. "And it's nasty on the inside too" he added, this time his town was darker. "April fools right? I mean this is the team's new HQ?" Mal asked us. "Don't look at me, I had nothing to do with this" I said as I threw my hands up defensively. "Way to have my back" he said as I smiled at him arrogantly. "Where's the trapdoor to our real base?" Mal asked him. "No secret trapdoor and it's not our new HQ" Dick said as he walked towards Mal. "For the time being we'll operate out of the basement of the Hall of Justice. This is just a place to crash, a very temporary stopgap to crash for those of you who were actually living at the cave" Dick explained to him. "It's fine" Conner said as wolf yawned before ultimately laying down on the couch. "I'm sorry about the lack of privacy M'gann" I said to her sympathetically.

Me and Dick led her to a twin sized bed pushed against the wall that was surrounded by curtains on three sides. "This curtain will have to do for now" Dick said as he grabbed the curtain. "But we'll figure something else out" I added as I looked at her. "Oh no, no way" Mal said as he voiced his displeasure with us. "I am out, I'm headin' for the hall where I'm making other arrangements my friend" Mal said as he walked towards the door. "I don't blame you personally" I yelled after him. "You two should go along" Dick said as we looked over at him. "Pick up the boxes of your stuff that we salvaged from Mount Justice" I added. "It might help this warehouse feel more like a ware-home" Dick said as I rolled my eyes at the cheesiness of the last part of his speech. "You are such a cheesy sap" I said as he and I walked out of the warehouse and towards the Supercycle. "I'll help as much as I can but I'm also 2 months pregnant so" I said as they nodded while we loaded ourselves into the Supercycle and left.

At the Hall of Justice

We were stacking up boxes while Mal and Karen talked, I'm guessing he was discussing living with her and by his facial expressions it wasn't going well. "G-Greetings and Salutationisms Earth champions!" We heard a voice yell from outside. I watched as Zatanna and Billy ran out of the Hall. I followed after them quickly. "I am L-Ron, major domo to the great master" a little gold robot said as he flew towards us. "And you are my prisoners" he said as he gestured wildly. "This is Plastic Man's April Fool's joke isn't it" Captain Marvel said as we looked at the robot in shock. "Okay, Plas, heh, you got us" Captain Marvel says as he chuckles. "No, I have you" L-Rob said as he tapped a button on his arm and a red grid started to appear around us. "Though, not for myself of course. Rather, I hold you here at the behest of my master, who seeks to prove himself against Earth's greatest warriors" the robot added as the glowing outline of a man started to appear. The glowing outline eventually turned into a solid man. He towered above Billy.

"Holy shit he's tall" I said as I looked at the "master" L-Ron spoke of. He paused momentarily before kicking Captain Marvel hard enough to send him flying backwards through one of the many glass windows that lined the Hall. "Let the cage match begin" L-Ron said as I looked at Zatanna worriedly. "No fooling" L-Ron said as his master growled. "Magic user Master" L-Ron said as he flew behind Zatanna. She tried to cast a spell but the eye in his forehead glowed red and and she stood limply as she glanced into it. "Uh, uh" he said as he waved his finger at the girl. "Magic is cheating" L-Ron added as the tall male walked past me and into the Hall and destroyed the door. "Master's more the hands on type" the robot explained to us. "Allow me to introduce my master, the warlord Despero" he said as I looked at the back of the tall man as he hovered over Billy. "Gladiatorial champion of 92 star systems" he announced. "Working on 93 now" he added as he flew over to Captain Marvel. "Fat chance" I yelled as I ran into the hall.

"He has come to this backwater planet seeking a challenge to prove his superiority to all life forms" L-Ron revealed as Captain Marvel stood up. "It's quite the complimentism. You should really feel honored" L-Ron said as he peeked over Billy's shoulder. "Oh, I am. Here, let me show him" Captain Marvel uttered in annoyance. "Spoiler, get to safety" he said as he looked at me from over his shoulder. He then looked forward as he charged forward at Despero and knocked him back into a wall. Despero then proceeded to launch Captain Marvel into the ceiling before Billy fell down again. I ran into the room where the others were and saw they were watching the fight on the security cameras. "He needs backup" I said as I rushed up to them. Conner nodded before charging out to join the fight. "You go too" I said to Bumblebee as she shrank down and flew out after Conner. Me and M'gann looked to Mal as he stared at us in confusion. "Right" he said as he turned around and started typing on the Hall's computer. "There you go" I said as me and M'gann walked up behind him.
