CHAPTER SEVENTwo months have passed, marked by a whirlwind of new experiences and treasured memories. Amidst all of the excitement, there has been an overwhelming load of homework and school assignments to tackle, accompanied by a period of readjustment to the new routine. The life I live today holds little resemblance to the one I lived merely a year ago.
Every day, I find myself in the company of Pansy and the rest of the group. Engaging in conversations, sharing jokes, and experiencing genuine laughter with them has become a regular occurrence. Despite this, a sense of unease still lingers within me at times, and I often feel like I don't quite belong among them. Theodore's presence exacerbates these feelings, and our bickering remains as frequent as it was at the beginning of the school year. However, there is a subtle shift in the dynamics now, as the atmosphere has become more relaxed. It seems that the others have grown accustomed to my presence, and their indifference alleviates my concerns to some extent.
My phone vibrates over my nightstand and I roll over in my bed, reaching out to retrieve it. The clock shows ten AM and I rub my eyes.
What's everyone doing today?
No plans.
