Sambucky Oneshots

Nightmare

Bucky tossed and turned in the sheets as beads of sweat went down his face, chest, and back. It was another nightmare terrorizing his head and this time it was about Sam.

Bucky started to cry and yelp in his sleep. Continuing to toss and turn which his boyfriend wake up.

Sam sat up and rubbed his eyes. He looked over to see his boyfriend being tormented and immediately shaking him gently to wake him up.

"Bucky wake up it's a nightmare you're safe!" Sam shook his lover before Bucky sat up fast.

Bucky was still crying and his chest raised and fell fast since his heart was racing. He looked over to the man he loved and broke down even more. His face fell into Sam's shoulder as he wrapped his arms around Sam's body. Trying to keep him safe for whatever danger he was scared of.

He wailed and sobbed in the man's shoulder clinging into his body scared to let go. Sam simply held him back and stroked his hair.

"Whatever was happening you're safe now" Sam spoke softly rubbing buckys back. Slowly but surely Bucky started to calm down a little he wiped away his tears and lifted himself up away from Sam. He looked into his eyes and his placed his hands of his cheeks.

"I love you so much Sam" he whispered softly resting his forehead on his lover's forehead. "What was your dream about love?" He asked softly "it was about you..I-I couldn't save you..I had lost you in a battle." He replied with rasp to his voice from the crying. Sam laid down on the bed having Bucky rest his head on his chest.

"You'll never lose me bucky, I promise." He comforted his lover. They stood entangled with each other and the sheets and eventually fell asleep this time peacefully knowing they were both safe.
