Bio: As a baby, Kai was abandoned in a dumpster, only to be found and rescued by the ancient, elusive, righteous first order of ninjas: the Norisu Nine. Growing up in the clan under the watch, care, and teachings of Master Kinkoku Asami, he was subjugated to the harsh training of becoming a ninja warrior, for every four years, 900 students graduate from their ranks to protect the world from the forces of darkness, but only nine would be chosen by nine special masks, each imbued with the mystical powers of the Great Yokai of Nippon, as shown in the scroll below...

Quick History Lesson: These monsters terrorized all of Japan 800 years ago until the nine brothers, the Norisu Nine, the first of the shinobi ever to exist fought and sealed the Great Yokai away; their physical form into the void, and their power within the masks. Not long after, they used the power of the Nine Great Yokai to defeat their ancient enemy, Yamigaru the Sorcerer, who turned anyone who showed even a hint of negative emotion into his demonic minions. It had been a long, painful journey, but the Norisu Nine managed to defeat the Sorcerer, imprisoning him within the Shadow Realm. But this victory was not without sacrifice. Only one of the nine brothers survived the battle, the youngest of the Norisu Nine. From that day forward, he upheld the vow he and his brothers made, to protect the world from the forces of darkness from within the shadows, thus, creating the Order of the Norisu Nine.
At the age of 14, Kai had shown exceptional skill, spirit, and bravery as a Ninja-In-Training, but no one had ever thought he'd be chosen by the Mask of the Ninth. Many had envied this feat, as no freshman had been able to receive such rank. And so, he was to be a member of the graduating class and would learn the secrets of the Order's most sacred tome: the Ninja Nomicon. However, as the graduation barely got started, the Order was attacked by shinobi of unknown origin, despite the locations of the Order being kept secret. The enemy attacked and the Order fought back, but the skills of these enemies proved formidable as they slaughtered anyone and everyone who stood in their way. They attacked the nine graduates but were thwarted by Master Asami who told them to vanish into the shadows. Kai was reluctant to leave though, as he saw Master Asami as a father, just as Asami raised him as his own son, but the two had to go their separate ways as the Ninja Master fought a losing battle with the enemy. His fellow graduates now butchered, Kai was ordered to take the Masks and the Ninja Nomicon - their most sacred recorded tome - to safety, to keep them out of the hands of the enemy. Kai ran for his life out of the temple and survived, but now was without a home, for all the Norisu Nine's hidden schools were compromised and destroyed, leaving no survivors. Before that day, Kai was a cheery, carefree kid, but had now turned into a cold, unyielding warrior hellbent on finding the ones responsible for destroying his home and killing those he called his family. He screamed out to the heavens vowing vengeance upon this enemy and to avenge the Order, once and for all...
