Hisoka followed behind the Spiders, his body strained within the invisible force as they climbed the high-class apartment. It was quite fascinating how Darnell manipulated his own shadow to hold him down, seemingly giving Illumi a hard time. There were two new Spiders pleasing to the eye. The Phantom Troupe never ceased to amaze him so he couldn't help but obey their weary commands in commission for entertainment.

They arrived on the roof of one of the tallest buildings in the city nearing the height of his window from Heaven's Arena. The structures below were nothing but dots. Only darkness consumed the extravagant, glazed penthouse that came into view. A smooth marble terrace edged out with glass railings. What was the Troupe doing in a space like this?

Though Hisoka's prisoned legs moved freely, he could tell Darnell listened to the tension of both his and Illumi's body through the shadows. His gaze never hesitated from their position as if he had eyes in the back of his head. Hisoka's curiosity shifted to Illumi who was rather calm despite the turn of events. But that only meant this wasn't a threat and he probably planned to continue his business, even when surrounded.

They entered from the terrace and walked inside to a spacious living room with a ceiling two stories high. One side displayed windows with a height stretching the entire walls. Vanilla white couches surrounded the middle with modern architecture decorating the dressers and tables. The lights were off though the moon's beams were bright enough to illuminate the room just fine.

"Hisoka," Chrollo was the first to speak as eleven Spiders gathered around the sofa with him and Illumi nearest to the entrance of the terrace. "And Illumi Zoldyck, I see." A quick glance to Darnell left the gesture for him to release them both and Hisoka rubbed his arms from shadow's grasp, looking around. Corrin and Machi leaned over the rail from the second floor with the others on the first, scattered in different places. A few on the couch, a few seated at the kitchen counters, and a couple leaning over the couch's rim, all open views of the living room.

Hisoka lifted his hand towards Chrollo. "It is always a pleasure to find you full of such tasteful power~"

How should he play his hand tonight? Surely there was a wild card somewhere. Disgusted looks were thrown at him from left and right, pinning him with that distant betrayal he left on Greed Island.

"These two were after the same object," Darnell said to Chrollo. "What do we do with them?"

"Get answers." Nobunaga rolled his eyes. "Obviously."

"Or kill," Feitan said to which some others nodded, agreeably.

Hisoka circled his attention around a few times, unconsciously collecting details. And doing so allowed him to notice Illumi doing the same thing. Though the assassin's eyes were fixed to one area, his internal gaze could be felt peeling the walls.

Corrin raised her hand, "I agree, why can't we kill them? We have no need for imposers."

"I'm only here for that plant," Illumi answered, meeting her gaze. "The one you seemed to have gotten your hands on. Everything else is confidential and cannot be answered."

Corrin clicked her teeth in ridicule. "You're not getting it are you? You don't have the right to speak in a manner that guarantees your freedom. The plant will never be yours."

"Your words have no effect on my actions," Illumi squinted at her with hidden disdain. "And I always complete an assigned job." Both of them eyeballed each other without blinking and both were anticipated to act out any moment.

Hisoka internally shook his head. For his sake, he hoped Illumi wouldn't engage in anything to disturb his plans.

"Wait," Darnell instructed, suggesting Illumi to cease his forging fingers. "We're willing to talk."
