Ires laid his head on a log's hard surface and tried to get in some sleep, Ires shuffled his body along the cold soggy soil that covered the earth. Ires looked over to Seliva who was sleeping soundly and her stomach was rising and falling with each breath that she took. Seliva smiled in her sleep and Ires smiled knowing she was having a good dream, far away from the reality that took place here and its hold on the earth made everything frustrating. Ires sighed knowing he would not be experiencing the same safety that dreams could give to you. Ires was feeling more alert than he had ever felt in his life. They had moved away from the village a few hours after the encounter with fury driven man, and in those few hours they had tried to get everything they would need for a couple of days. At least they thought they would be gone for a couple of days. Ires sighed again as he remembered the fury written all over the man's face identical to the expression on Soet's face as he tried to brutally murder him. Seliva moved to face Ires and Ires noticed the way the sun sinking into the horizon reflecting perfectly off of Seliva's face.
Ires closed his eyes and tried again to fall under sleep's spell and this time, worry and confusion slipped away from him and his vision went black as he fell into a energizing sleep.
Ires moved his arms and found that he could not move them one inch or at all. Ires opened his eyes and found his hands and legs chained to a stone wall. Ires shouted and also found out that his mouth had been gagged. He suddenly felt a sharp burning in his wrist and turned over and saw his bracelet glowing bright orange. " No. . no. . no. nononono" Ires tried to blow on it but the gag prevented him from doing it. Ires felt a panic rise in him, No, its going to ruin everything. Ires heard a soft but powerful voice speak out to him in his head. Don't fight it, it will guide you when you need it. Ires considered it for a moment then confirmed it was worth a try even if it was going to ruin everything and leave him to blame, and focused on the bracelet then channeled his rage and fury in it and the bracelet glowed brighter than before, giving a burst of uncontrolled sunlight. Ires gasped at the blinding light and the shackles that tied him to the cold unforgiving wall started to melt burning a bright orange-red and sliding right off Ires' hands though they didn't hurt at all. Ires' eyes burned with flames that seemed to ignite within them sparking the creature that was hiding inside him, the creature raised hid hand and the door to the jail cell burst open like a ballon that came into contact with a needle.
The creature raised his hand again and this time pushed away from it. A sonic blast that cut through the castle jail like it was butter. Everything was burning. . . . . .
Ires bolted upright and fell right down on the log only to discover that Seliva had disappeared and was nowhere to be seen. Ires looked around frantically and cried out " Hey, Seliva where are you." A heavy mist had settled down while they were sleeping and that made it better because it meant that those things wouldn't be able to find them, right? " I'm right here, Ires" a voice resonated though the thick fog. Ires looked over to the direction of the voice and found a girl holding tons of wood for god knows what." Whats all that wood for?" Ires asked. Seliva replied smugly " Well if you want to stay cold and freeze to death, you're doing a great job at it." Ires cracked a smile and replied "Well, we wouldn't want a half-frozen Ires ice cube just sitting there doing nothing, now would we?" Ires smiled warmly at Seliva and got up and started to stretch.
Ires announced suddenly that he needed a walk to clear his mind, Seliva looked over to Ires and spoke with worry laced in her voice, " Are you sure that you can find your way back, this fog is getting thicker and thicker and its getting impossible to see more than ten meters." Ires nodded and turned back toward the dark shadows that littered the dirt floor of the forest, "Yeah, I know how to find my way back, don't you feel it ?" Seliva just looked confused and asked " What do you mean, Ires" Ires just turned around and walked into darkness as Seliva called out his name in confusion " What do you mean, Ires!" Seliva called out his name one last time before he disappeared into the darkness of the forest. "Ires, come back!".
The tops of the forest covered the sunlight from entering and trapping the cold, dark atmosphere inside it. Ires stepped over a log that seemed like it was there for years on end. Ires looked around, there wasn't much to see as everything was almost shrouded in pitch black darkness. Ires noticed that the creatures that managed to survive were small but who knows what deadly power there have waiting for the chance to attack. Fog began to seep into the damp soil and disappearing among the bugs and rocks. "The winds picking up, better keep on going" Ires said to no one in particular. Ires stopped to put on a cloak that shielded him from the intense bursts of cold wind, Ires kept on walking, his cloak swishing in the wind.
