Harriet Osborn was the last person Tristan expected to see at his school, but there she was wearing what looked like over ten thousand dollars of custom clothing.

Tristan could tell.

"Oh hey." She greeted pleasently when she saw him. "My parents decided to temporarily move here on yet another impulse." She giggled nervously.

"I'm more surprised they let you go to a public in all honesty."

Harriet shrugged "father always said it's better to remain down to earth as much as possible. Both literally and figuratively. Although I'm not going to lie this is a bit overwhelming."

"Let me see your schedule, I can show you around." Offered Tristan.

"That'd be wonderful."

She handed him the piece of paper the first class making Tristan cringe.

"What's wrong?" Wondered Harriet worriedly.

"Not much I just hope you can take notes at the speed of sound. Our science teacher pretty much expects us to grasp every concept on the first try. Thank god she's not our principal anymore."

"Oh boy." Sighed Harriet "science is already hard enough for me."

"It's annoying, but it's best you just study it outside of class at your own pace." Replied Tristan handing Harriet her schedule back.

"Could you... help me?"

Tristan shrugged "sure I don't have anything today, you can meet me in the library after school."

"Thank you, sorry I have to go."

"Oh yeah sure. See ya." Awkwardly waved Tristan as she left.

"What was that?" Demanded an amused voice behind him.

Tristan turned to Muryō. "I have no idea what your talking about."

"Sure." He replied smiling "you definitely didn't look like a love struck puppy five seconds ago." He scoffed rolling his eyes.

Tristan flicked in his nose "you my friend are delusional." He declared walking away.

Muryō walked after him chuckling. "You know your mom's gonna invite her over anyway right?"

"Yeah it's why your keeping your mouth shut." Tristan huffed amused.

"Ah come on it's a big event, you finally have a friend you didn't grow up with."

"Dude seriously drop it." Groaned Tristan annoyed. "Why does everything I do have to be put on blast?"

"I mean you don't do a lot of things."

"I'm about to smack you upside the head how's that for doing things?" Grumbled Tristan gathering his science books.

"Hey is it true you exorcised a ghost?"

Tristan froze and slowly turned to Muryō.

"Please don't breathe a word of that to my parents. Ever since the incident they think I'm made of glass or something."

"Tristan you almost died."

And now I can pick up a bus with my bare hands is what Tristan wish he could tell his friend.

"Yeah, but I'm alive aren't I? What's the point of keeping from living by imposing some stupid curfew before the actual curfews and calling me every—." The sound of his ringing phone interrupted his rant. Taking in a deep steadying breath Tristan reached into his pocket.

"Hey mom." He greeted with a perfected fake smile in his voice.

"What's this I've heard about skipping classes." Came Marinette's stern voice without greeting back.
