The next morning had come and you seemed to be the first one to wake up. You got off your spot on the couch, and creeped around everyone laying on the floor. You showered and dressed accordingly to prepare for the rest of your day.

After getting ready you left a note on the front door saying that you'd be back. You didn't want to stay in the house any longer since it was beautiful outside and everyone was taking too long to get up. You didn't mind doing stuff by yourself, most of the work you did for your job was asynchronous, so it had become an everyday requirement of your life.

Before you left out of the apartment you noticed the only person missing from the group was Eren. Since you didn't have anything but his work email in your phone you convinced yourself that he'd just fallen asleep in the other room and was fine. You got on the elevator and rode it down to the bottom level. The door security nodded to you on your way out and in return you gave him a small wave.

Once you stepped outside a nice chilled breeze hit your face. It was a beautiful autumn day and you'd just planned on shopping until everyone woke up. Imani lived in an urbanized part of the city so there was pretty much every store you could imagine nearby, but first you had to stop and get coffee. It was essential to your morning routine and occasionally helped differ a good day from a bad one. Thankfully there was a shop walking distance from where you were and that's where you wound up.

The coffee shop wasn't heavily packed, but it was enough to have you waiting in line for ten minutes. Standing there a few things went through your mind, but one in particular you couldn't shake off. Your boss. He was such a mysterious person and you didn't know whether that was good or bad. He didn't seem to ever truly talk to you unless you were one on one with each other. You couldn't help but think the only reason he won't talk to you like everyone else is because you slept together. Although it was a one time thing it wouldn't be in his favor if everyone knew you started working under him after that. It'd make it seem like he had favorites. It wouldn't be in your best interest to mention it either, they'd think you only got hired off of how good the sex was.

You were so lost in thought you didn't hear the waiter calling your name. You inched forward in the line and apologized then proceeded to order some breakfast.

Once you got your drink and breakfast sandwich you went back outside to continue your walk. You ate portions of your sandwich and occasionally sipped the coffee despite it being too hot. The leaves on the trees around you started to darken into shades of red and yellow as the seasons transitioned from summer to fall. Your eyes watched as a few leaves fell down from the treetops and you felt a sudden thump in front of you.

You looked at the scene in front of you, that you would've considered to be a crime. Your sandwich was on the ground and your coffee was splattered on the ground in front of you. The sight made you want to cry.
