Chapter 5. Alone

No No No! This can't be happening! Where is it?! It can't be gone no!

Damn it!.. Okay fine I'll go without it. I opened my front door to leave the house, but it was suddenly dark and foggy outside. I started feeling sick to my stomach, I was trying not to panic and let my anxiety take over, my breath felt shaky.

Everything was quiet it made me feel anxious. I need to call someone this is all to much, when I grabbed my phone I noticed my screen was just static. This all feels like a bad dream... suddenly I heard a bunch of distorted voices, I felt like my head was going to explode, it sounded like a bunch of different people in my head.

"Find it"
"Hide"
"They...want..."

I'm stuck aren't I?.. I need to wake up, I need to wake up please! let me wake up!

"You're not...dreaming"

Guess I'm alone again... And crazy I don't know where I am, this looks like home but everything is strange, I'll just go I need to find the spot.

I started running down the street, it felt like it just kept going. Everything is so foggy and cold, I started walking to catch my breath, I noticed something up ahead. It's so foggy I can
barely see.

The more I slowly walked up the street.
I noticed it looked like a person up ahead, but it also didn't... it's figure grew taller, it looked like all of its limbs were broken, it's arm was twisted hanging up, it's leg dragging on the road. I could see it's skin peeling off of it's leg from dragging on the street.

Oh god...I felt sick and scared
There is an alleyway up ahead, I just need to walk a little bit more and I can get away from this thing. I started running but as soon as, I ran.. it ran too...I watch as it ran towards me, it's leg slowly tore off, it didn't even care.. it started crawling fast towards me.

I stopped running. Then it also stopped, it just stayed there watching me. I took a step forward and it did the same, I don't want this thing getting near me and it's copying what I do. The alleyway is on my left, if I can get to the alleyway slowly I might not run right into this thing, I'm a bit closer to the alleyway then it is. I take another step watching it, It started doing something, I watched as it tried standing up, then it..I watched in fear as it started tearing it's arm off, it put its arm under its amputated leg and used its skin to wrap it on like tape. It stood up again now using its arm as its other leg..

I think I'm gonna be sick, what the fuck is happening here! And where is here..fuck I need to stay focused. I slowly took another step, it just stood there this time watching me,
I took one more. It's still just watching me.

Fuck it!

I ran as fast as I could into the alley way,
It started chasing me, I kept running and running I looked behind me, but it was gone.
I was too scared to stop running. I kept running until I got to the forest, I think I'm close to the spot that was pinned. I kept walking, I noticed something shiny up ahead in the dirt. I walked up to it and looked down to see what it was,
It was the necklace!
What? How did it get here? Why is it here?
