Lyro Soundrix

"Lyricx? Cool name." Puna ni Ully sa pangalan ng kapatid ko. I just smiled quietly, it's my sister.

"Quite unique." Napatingin ako kay Medley nang siya ang magsalita. Woah?

"Right? Isn't she pretty like her name?" sabi ni Lincoln kaya tiningnan ko ito nang masama at tinaas ang kamao ko sa kaniya. He quickly put his arms as a sign of surrender.

"Is it too personal?" tanong ni prof ngunit hindi man lang tumango o umiling ang kapatid ko na nanatiling nakayuko.

Minasahe ko ang temple ko kasi unang araw pa lang, ramdam ko ang pagiging frustrated ko sa Li'l Sis ko.

It's not going to be easy.

"Oh okay, Ms. Lyricx, what about music? What you can do?" Umaasang tanong ni Prof.

Uh-oh.

Kita ko kung pa'no tumaas ang balikt ng kapatid ko bago bumaba ulit, bumubtong hininga lamang ito at hindi man lang sinagot ang tanong ng Prof. Lumingon sa akin si Prof kaya iniiling ko na lang ang uloo ko.

Napabuntong hininga siya bago ngumiti muli kay Lyricx. "You may-" Prof was going to say something but my sister interrupted her.

"I don't have anything to do with Music." Diretsang sabi nito bagos nagtaas ng tingin sa amin. "I hate music." Malamig na sabi niya kaya napa-sapo ako ng ulo ko habang nailing.

Napa-sipol si Lincoln nang marinig muli ang sinabi kani-kanina lang sa kaniya ni Lyricx. Lahat ay natigilan sa naging sagot niya maging ang Lost Symphony.

"I have an urgent meeting, you can do whatever you want in this room. I trust all of you since you're all High Elite Students." Sabi ni prof habang nililigpit ang gamit niya. "Take care of your newest member, okay? and Lyricx? Enjoy!' Nawala na siya sa room.

Umupo sa tabi ko Lyricx at habol ang tingin sa kaniya ng lahat. "Lyricx, what's with that?"

"Nothing, my initial introduction." Balewala nitong sabi.

"Why do you hate Music?" Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako nang marinig ko kung sino ang pumuna nang sinabi niya.

Allegro Prix De Vera, the vocalist, guitarist, and leader of the Lost Symphony.

Oh how did I forget that their main motive as a band is to resonate their feelings to the listener through their sound and music, whether they love or hate music.

Lyricx Sonata

"Why do you hate music?" I was asked by someone I don't know who.

"Is it a required question? It's because it's none of your business." Mataray kong tugon. Yeah right, every person here loves music.

I heard the same guy chuckle. "Oh, feisty. Unbelievable, how and why would you hate such a precious thing?" His smile ang bumungad nang bumaling ako sa kaniya. I hate his guts already, damn it. I hate it's smile, it's bright. I can sense something in him.

'Cause he's possessed by Music, duh!

"Definitely not your problem." Masungit kong sabi. Napatingin ako kay Kuya na tila pinipigilan na ako. Umirap din ako sa kaniya.

"Sorry for her behavior." Malumay na paghingi niya nang paumanhin doon sa lalaking nosy. Ngumiti ito kay Kuya bago naupo sa upuan niya at tumingin muli sa akin. Umirap ako muli, such a pakealamero!

Siguro ang buhay ko dito ay iikot lang sa init nang ulo ko. I was sorrounded by Music Maniacs!

Nilakihan ni Kuya ang mata niya kaya tumahimik na ako. "I'm reall sorry in behalf of her inappropriate actions and words." Paghingi niya nang tawad.

Tsk.

"Why are you even saying sorry, Bro?" gulat na tanong nitong isa. ( Ully )

"Shh! Suway ni Kuya Lincoln, napa baling tuloy sila sa akin.

Kaya ayaw ko makipagkilala at magpakilala.

"Why are you here? Especially in this class if you hate music?" Mahinhin na tanong no'ng babaeng hindi ko din kilala. (Romanticia)

"Personal Reason." of my parents, and ask them why am I even here! Akala naman talaga nila na gusto ko 'to? Ha!

My parents would have to kneel if that was the case.

"Magpakilala muna kaya tayo? It's her first day and we're being rude for asking questions when she still doesn't know us." The other guy said, yes boi, tumpak! ( Wield )

"Well done." Segunda naman no'ng isa.

Lalakas mag-question sa mga sinasabi ko, mga hindi ko naman kilala.

"You already know me right, Lyricx?" Tinanguan ko si Kuya Lincoln bago tumingin sasumunod.

"Hi, I'm Ully Reix Ocampo, Drummer of Star Gazer." Ngumiti ito sa akin, I smiled back halfly. He's the guy who asked Kuya why he's 'sorry' for me.

"I'm Weild Miranda, Pianit ng Star Gazer." Pakilala ni the guy who noticed that they're rude, and yeah, irritable.

"Medley. Medley Jive Vergara. Vocalist." Maikling pakilala nito.

Tinanguan ko lang.

"Romanticia Valencia,  bassist from Lost Symphony." Pakilala no'ng mahinhin. Are they the ones that Kuya's calling the Greatest?

"Moniese Lee Mariano, pianist also fromthe band of Lost Symphony!" The girl cheerfully introduced herself. Ngitian ko ito at nagulat naman siya.

"Payton Riffs Pascual, Drummer of the Lost Symphony." sabi no'ng lalaki na nagpapaikot ng pamalo sa drum.

"Prix. Allegro Prix De Vera. I'm in charge of the Lost Symphony, guitarist and the Vocalist." Nakangiting pakilala no'ng Prix daw. Siya 'yong pakealamero.

"I apologize for what happened a while ago. Just don't mind me and don't meddle with me." Paimula kong sabi. "Lyricx Sonata Velasco is the name." Sabi ko at umani ito nang samo't saring reactions.

'Velasco?'

'Kapatid mo?'

'oh she's pretty!'

'Kapatid mo pala bro eh!'

I thought chix ni Soundrix HAHAHA'

'....'

'hmm..'

"Stop it, guys!' Masungit na tugon ni Kuya Lyro.

Umub-ob ako sa desk ko at tumulog.

"Wake up, Li'l Sis" Pag-gising sa akin nang kung sino mang demonyo.

"What?" Inaantok kong tanong.

"It's vacant but it's almost lunch, I already got your schedule." Sabi ni Kuya then gives me a card of my schedule. Tinitigan ko ang sched ko. Boring.

Just 2 classes a day? M-T-W-T pasok ko isang homeroom, isang class. I looked at my wristwatch, it's our vacant time. It was also the time to eat some lunch.

"Let's eat!" Anyaya ni Kuya, napatingin ako dito. "No, no! My dearest little sister, you will have to come with us." Tumango na lamang ako dito ulit. I lend my right hand asking for my car keys.

Inabot naman sa akin ni Kuya. "Oh, you can drive?" gulat na tanong ni Kuya Ully. "Yes, it's my car." Napatango parin sila kahit evident pa rin sa gulat. I mean, why would they be surprise?

"I thought Soundrix owns it." Ay ginawa ko lang siyang driver Kuya Lincoln. "I just drive for her kasi hindi pa niya kabisado, then you've already ride her car." Kuya said kaya naman napakamot si Kuya Lincoln sa ulo. sa akin sumabay sina Kuya, Kuya Ully and even Medley. Kuya Lincoln will drive his car daw with Kuya Wield.

Nanlibre si Kuya kasi first day kodaw, pa-welcome. Tuwang tuwa ito at hindi maalis ang ngiti sa labi.
