Lyricx Sonata
It's indeed a massive University. we just entered the school premises. Kuya Larry and Ate Lannie are in the camper van. They will be going with us kasi Mom ordered them to organize my things and my dorm room.
Of course, they're bringing my instruments.
I couldn't help but be awed at the sight of the University. It lives up to its name and title.
Kuya said na we go with Kuya Larry and Ate Lannie first to my dorm room before niya daw ako tour sa buildings.
Nag-park si Kuya sa parking ng girl's dormitory daw. I also notice, bakit wala masyadong sasakyan dito sa Uni nila, ang laki kaya nito.
He said. " We had an open mini school bus, it's connected to our university portal if the student needs a ride." Oh, cool. Instructed din naman daw ang mga drivers sa schedules. Sapat din daw ang transportation for the whole Uni.
He said I could bring this car if I wanted to. That's great.
The University has 6 dorms and it was build in open u-shape, pinagigitnaan iyong magandang building na hindi ko alam kung para saan. Tig-3 dorms daw ang boys and girls.
Nagpunta kami sa Lobby to inquire or ask kung anong room ko.
"Can I please have your name, Ma'am?" Tanong ng tao na nasa front deask ngumiti lamang ako bago sinabi ang pangalan ko.
"Lyricx Sonata Velasco." Simple kong saad kaya napatingin siya sa akin ng gulat at nagpabalik balik ang tingin nito sa amin ni Kuya.
"Oh! Anak po kayo nina Ma'am Hariette at Sir Yuu Velasco?" I simply nodded my head and half smiled at her. I expected this reaction, as always.
The shock on her face is still evident pero nagawa niya pa din ang trabaho. Naguguluhang tumingin ito sa amin. "Ma'am, I'm afraid that your name wasn't listed here. I'll ask po sa ibang Dormitory." Nhihiyang nguumiti ito sa akin.
Kuya looked confuse din, tinaasan ko siya ng brows. How come na I am not registered here when Dad already said that he fixed everything?
" Ms. Lyricx Sonata Velasco ang name ni Ma'am. Can you please check it?" Sabi ni Ate sa tinawagan niya. "Yes, Dear! Anak nina Mr. and Mrs Velasco kaya hanapin mo na, they're waiting." Napatawa naman ako kay Ateng Front Desk sa tinuran niya.
Ilang minute pa ay "What? Bakit kaya? Oh sige, sasabihin ko. Thank you!" Sabi ni Ate-uh? bumaba ang tingin ko sa name plate niya, Ate Pollie.
"Ms. Velasco, your name was also not in the Dormitory G2 and G3" alalang sabi niya. I just smiled to assure her that it was okay.
"Why is that?" Hindi na napigilan ni Kuya kundi magtanong. Ate Pollie looked at us apolegitically.
"I apologize, Ma'am, Sir. The other Front Desk will ask the- oh, excuse me po, they're calling back." Paumanhin ni Ate Pollie at bumaling muli sa telepono.
"Kuya, I thought all of you fixed this and it was ready?" Nakataas kilay kong tanong sa kapatid ko na nagiwas ng tingin. It's bothersome.
"Shh, I don't have any clue either, Li'l Sis. Let's wait."
Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako. Great! It's my first day at minamalas na agad.
Binaba na ni Ate Pollie ang call at ngumiti na sa amin. "Sorry for our inconvenience, Ma'am and Sir." She said formally. "The dormitory G2 asked the High Elite Dormitory Keeper if your name was listed there. It was there, your Dormitry will be the High Elite Dormitory." She explained and tell us where I was assigned.
We thanked her as we go to the parking.
Sumakay na ako muli while Kuya go to Kuya Larry para sabihian na hindi pala ditto ang destination ko.
Ang pinaka bumungad agad na dorm building ay ang dorm ko pala talaga.
"I should know it since I'm living in that Dorm. Sorry, Li'l Sis." Paumanhin ni Kuya nang makababa na kami sa kotse ko.
I blankly observe the dorm, it's elegant. It's like a mansion in a building way.
"Bro!' Bati nang kuung sino kay.. Kuya?
"Lincoln?" Asa'n ang iba?" He looked at me. " May I ask bro, who's this gorgeous lady?"
Nakatingin lang ako sa kaniya, hindi ko mawar kung ngi-ngitian ko ba o hindi papansinin.
"She's my younger sister, Lyricx Sonata.' Kuya proudly introduce me, so in the end ngumiti na lamang ako.
"Sister?!" gulat nitong tanong. Tumango na lamang ako, mukkhang ayaw niya maniwala sa sinabi ni Kuya eh.
"He's Lincoln Khaspier Peralta, one of my bandmates." Kuya introduced him to me. so this guy right here is one of the bandmates he's been telling me?
"Hi!" I greeted him back and he just flashed his killer smile.
"Just tell the others na ito-tour ko lang ito. If someone ask." Bilin ni Kuya. Napatango naman si Kuya Lincoln. Bumaling kami sa front desk .
"Good Morning, Ate Pau. Lyricx Sonata Velasco." Ngumiti naman ang tinawag niyang Ate Pau.
"Room LS 005 in the Fourth Floor, Ma'am." sabi ni Ate Pau nang mahanap ang name ko.
"What? Why is she in that floor?" Gulat na sabi ni Kuya? maing si Kuya Lincoln ay nagulat din.
Nagtaka naman ako, why? What is it na naman ba?
"I'm afraid that I don't have the answer for that as it was instructed by the Head Master to register the Ma'am himself." Magalang na sagot ni Ate. Napatango si Kuya at kinuha ang Card at inabot sa akin.
Iyong card ay my kasamang ID Card ko, and ang card key ay may keychain na g-clef.
"Why are you like that?" Natatawa kong tanong kay Kuya, bago niya ako sagutin ay tumingin muna ito kuya Kuya Lincoln.
"The fourth floor which will also be your floor is occupied by one famous band here."
"And?"
I asked with no interest in his worry. Tumalikod na ako at akmang lalakad ngunit I stop din agad.
"Are you okay with that? It's too early for you to meet them." He said worriedly. "They are well known here - the greatest even! You're forced to enter here. I still can't believe that Dad would go this far." Nahihimigan ko ang paga-alala niya.
"Yeah, right? And so?" I said nonchalantly bago tuluyan ng lumakad. As if I care?
