I sipped my drinks before looking at her boredly.
"Girl? You don't know?" She takes a deep breathe before speaking nonstop.
"High Elite Students are students that were on the top of the pyramid in terms of rankings. You could say that they're the best of the best here! They are admired and their popularity was insane, they even go beyond this school nga eh. They got the looks, oh the body, the fame, and lastly the talents! I swear, they're-" she stopped for a moment
I handed her pineapple juice kasi naso-short na siya ng breath. Ts'ka ng saliva.
"They have privileges, a luxury menu, the authority, own building, own dormitory. Everything this school can offer! Only High Elite can own silver crest pins to their right side upper chest, though yours is different. Yeah, wala pa akong nakita sa kanila na may ganiyan." Mapanuri nitong sabi.
Luluhod kaya siya kapag nakita niya na naka-line up sa harapn niya ang High Elite pips?
Kasi I felt like there were not enough compliments and praises she could say to worship them.
"Yes." Pag amin ko na, hindi na siya maka-eat dahil sa pag-fafantanize niya. "I'm a High Elite whatsoever, just eat."
"I didn't even notice." nakanguso nitong sabi. Maybe that's why she's so maingay kanina with me. Oa na react niya with her staring at me while eating. "I was busy staring at your face kasi." Dagdag pa nito. Tinaasan ko siya nang kilay nang magkatinginan kami at sabay na natawa.
Hindi nga tayo talo haha.
"I'm still a human." Walang pake ko na saad.
"Whatever, Lyricx. A high elite is a high elite. Bakit pa nga ba ako magtataka, bunga ka nga pala nang Mrs. Hariette at Yuu Velasco, then your Kuya is also a High Elite. Hindi malabo na talented ka-"
I cut her off.
"I'm not talented." Iyon na lamang ang sinabi ko dahil ayaw ko na rin naman niyang malaman na ayaw ko sa musika, kahit na alam kong maiisip niya na I was a High Elite Student. I can say na it's because of my parents though it's a bit unfair. Lol, like who cares? As if I care about being here.
"Oh-kay." Napalitan na siyang kumain dahil halata naman na I don't want to talk about it anymore. Nauna na siya natapos kumain, may ice cream pa akong inuubos.
"You said you're with the same schedule as mine?" Tanong ko kaya tumango ito sa akin. "You can always have a ride with me." Pagyaya ko dito, nanlaki ang mata niya and it sparkled.
"Omg, really? Thank you! Super duper thank you, Lyricx!" Natutuwa nitong sabi at napahawak pa sa kamay ko. Napangiti ako. She's my very first friend here. It's the least that I can do. "You don't have a friend here?" Umiling si Fionna sa tanong ko.
"I have, but she's recovering. You'll meet her since she's also our classmate." Ngiting-ngiti na sabi nito.
"Oh, is that so? You can also bring her to join with us." Dagdag ko pa, tila angel na ata ang tingin nito sa akin.

"Wah, you're so kind and you're so pretty. Thank youuu." Napatawa ako nang maidagdag niya pa ang mukha ko.

"You were such an angel!" Papuri niya pa, I fanned my hand gesturing that tigilan niya na kasi bolang bola na ako.
Nilipit namin ang trash na organized sa isang tray para madali na nila mailigpit. I didn't finish my drink pink milk kasi I took a sip and I only drink my water.
Naglakad na kami papalabas ng Cafeteria.
Bitbit ko ang take out ko para kay Kuya. "Are you set?" Tanong ko habang nilalagay ang drink ko sa car seat gap, cup holder at ang food ni Kuya sa backseat. Tumango naman siya and fix her hair sa rear mirror.
"Oh, I almost forgot!" She exclaimed kaya napasilip ako sa kaniya.
"Hmm?"
"Are you free later?" Tumango ako sa kaniya. Wala naman na? Siguro ay ayosin ko pa ang nasa kwarto ko? I even doubt na may maayos pa ako kaya tumango na din ako.
"Yey! Wanna go with us to the Performance Building?" Anong meron?
"Sure, what time?" I asked
"6:30 pm, I guess? But we should go at 6pm." I nodded as it was okay with me.
"What? There's an event or anything?" Tanong ko.
Makaking ngumuti ito sa akin.
"The Battle of the Bands, The Oracle vs Lost Symphony."
It was starting huh.
