[3rd Person's POV]
(the irony is that no 3rd person existed at that time)Millions of years ago, there was nothing. Not even empty universe. Not a single star. No one can even imagine how it looked back then. Scientists are trying to decipher the situation till today but they haven't been very succesful throughout their journey. That phenomenon is called the Nowhat-Nowhere. If there was an observer, we could say it seemed as if it would continue forever, but...
[Universe's POV]
"Ugh, I'm soo bored! There is nothing to do here, " I sighed as I looked into my sister's eyes. "Hey, Starlight, can you think of anything fun to do?" My sister is much more sensible than me but still down for a good laugh. Maybe she has a good day...?
"I must be dreaming! It's been like 5 days since we've mysteriously appeared out of nowhere, we still don't know where we are, where we came from or how to stay alive, and you are complaining about boredom!"
Okay, she certainly DOESN'T have a good day.
Honestly, she's so annoying! (I suppose there is a bit of sensibility in her saying but still...)
"Well, miss Wise and Sensible, if you are interested in all that, why don't we get out of this fucking bubble and go explore?" I asked as a joke, but she took it seriously for some reason. Does that girl even have a sense of humour?!
"You actually had a fairly sensible idea for once. We could also find out where did we learn to talk and how do we know who we are." Starlight was starting to get excited, but suddenly, a thought seemed to hold her back.
"But... How are we going to get out of here safely?"
"Holy nuts! You're so boring! We are going to POP THIS BUBBLE, of course!" I facepalmed, laughing at Starlight's shocked face, but before she was able to say a word, I took my finger and-[Starlight's POV]
"BOOM!"
The bubble me and my brother Universe were stuck in burst into millions of sparkles. The sparkles were EVERYWHERE. I couldn't see anything. Absoutely nothing. Suddenly I felt a sparkle in my eye. It got stuck and even though the pain wasn't too bad, it was the last straw.
"This is all YOUR fault! If you hadn't popped that bloody bubble, nothing of this would have happened!"I snapped at Universe, but he just laughed it off.
"Come on sis, don't be so uptight! You don't know what we'll see after all the sparkles fade away! What if we see a colorful world or a giant rollercoaster?" So, this is my brother. He's always so easygoing and positive, that I sometimes doubt he knows what trouble or anxiety mean. It's annoying for sensitive people like me sometimes, but the energy is somehow contagious. I shrugged and waited patiently for the sparkles to fade.- some time later -
I feel like it's been ages since I've seen something different than sparkles. Not even Universe feels optimistic about the situation anymore. To be honest, it is bewildering to know he's in such a state, compared to his usual mood...It all seems so odd. What if we stay lost in this unknown mist forever?
