Cynthia

(1 week later)
*Joey POV*
I'm at the airport right now waiting for Cynthia and a center worker to arrive. The boys are with Alan. I decided not to paint the room a specific color and just wait till she gets older to decorate it the way she wants.
"Joseph Stamper" I hear a lady say
"Yes" I say
"Hello. I'm Melody a worker from the adoption center and this is Cynthia" she says
"Hi. Do you have the forms for me to sign" I ask
"Yes. Right here. There's two things you should know. Cynthia is allergic to peanuts and squirrels" she says
"Ok that is good to know. I will make sure she doesn't touch any squirrels." I say
"Here is Cynthia. Her luggage is right here and I hope everything works out" she says
"Thank you. Have a great day" I say
She leaves and I pick up Grace's bag and head out to the van. We had to buy a van because a car wouldn't have been big enough. I put Cynthia in her seat then get in. I send a quick text.
J-I have Cynthia. Heading to my place
A-alright. The boys are taking their nap. I will bring them over when they wake up.
C-fantastic. I'll be at your house Joe to see her
Ch-dinner at my house tonight. When does Grace come home
J-ok she comes home tomorrow
I put my phone away and head home.
I get there and walk in. Caleb and Chad are there. Cynthia is asleep in my arms.
"Dude she's small" Chad says
"I know and I don't care." I say
"Are you going to take her upstairs and out her to bed" Caleb asks
"No. I'll just let her sleep in my arms." I say
"Okay well we visited Grace this morning and she said that she's getting out tomorrow." Chad says
"I told the boys is take them to the park tomorrow" I say
"We can take them" Caleb says
"Ok thanks" I say
We talk some more then head to Caleb's. Once we get there Cynthia wakes up.
"Hey Kelsey can you hold Cynthia for me" I ask
"Sure" she says
I go to the kitchen.
"Uncle Joey come here" AJ says
"What" I ask
"Can you play with us" she asks
"What are you girls playing" I ask
"We're playing princess" she says
"What prince am I" I ask
"Your going to be Christoph. Uncle Chad is going to be Sven. Daddy is going to be the snow monster. Uncle Caleb is going to be Hans. I'm Elsa. Presley is Ana. Rowe is Olaf" she says
"Hold it. Uncle Chad should be Hans. I don't want him to be my reindeer" I say
"Ok. Uncle Caleb your Sven and Uncle Chad your Hans" she says
We fool around for a little bit. Then eat dinner. After dinner I take Cynthia and the boys home and put them to bed. As I come downstairs my phone rings.
J-hello
A-hey so I was going to pick Grace up from the hospital and take her out for lunch. Is that ok with you
J-sure. Caleb and Chad are taking my boys to the park. I'll probably stay home or take Cynthia to your house and go do something alone
A-ok see ya
J-yea see ya
I hang up and go upstairs to bed. I fall right asleep.

*Grace POV*
I get released from the hospital today and I'm glad. I'm waiting for whoever is taking me home to come. Alan comes in to the room.
"Hey Grace ready to go" he asks
"Yea" I say
"Ok" he says
He signs me out and we was to his vehicle.
"We're going to go to chick fil a for lunch" he says
"Ok" I say
"We get to chick fil a and go inside. We order and get our food then sit down. Alan prays and we start eating.
"So Grace next week we're probably going to go on tour" Alan says
"Ok." She says
"It's just going to be us guys, your kids and Mario" he says
"Ok that's fine. Is Cynthia going to go with or stay" I ask
"She's going to go with" he says
"Alright. How long is it going to be" I ask
"Two to three months. You can stay with one of the other wives if you want" he says
"Ok. I'll probably stay with Kelsey." I say
"Alright" he says
We continue to eat.
*Joey POV*
"Boys Uncle Caleb and Uncle Chad are here" I yell
"Come" I here Kyle say
They come down the steps.
"Ok boys go have fun. I'll see you later" I say
"Bye dada" they say
They leave and I hear Cynthia crying. I go to her room pick her up out if the crib.
"Hey you how about you go to Aunt Brycie's and I hang with Uncle Donald" I say
She laughs. I get her dressed then we leave. I get to Brycie's and we go inside.
"Hey Brycie can you watch Cynthia? Donald and I are going to do something" I say
"Sure Joe. Is Grace going on tour with you guys"
"No I think she's going to stay at Kelsey's though so she's not alone" I say
"Ok" she says
I head out and get in my car then call Donald.
D-hey Joe
J-hey do you want to go do something
D-sure lets go bowling then head to old country buffet for dinner
J-alright se you at the bowling alley
I hang up and drive to the bowling alley. Donald isn't here yet so I go in and get us a lane and my shoes. I put them on then Donald arrives.
"So how are the boys" he asks
"They're good. Grace and I adopted a girl from Puerto Rico. Her name is Cynthia Bell" I say
"Awesome. So when is the you know what" he says
"The you know what?" I ask
"Yeah the announcement to the guys and gals" he says
"Oh that. We aren't sure yet. The boys are turning two soon and the day after cynthia turns two so we might do it then" I say
"Ok. Why did you tell me" he asks
"Um you're my biological brother. The other three are my 'brothers' and they should have to wait." I say
We finish up bowling and head to eat food.
"So are you excited" he asks
"Yeah. I guess I am. It will just be a little difficult" I say
"Hey you got me, the guys, the girls. All of us are here to help out." He says
"You're right" I say
We eat dinner then go our own ways. I head to Caleb's to pick up the boys.
"Caleb, Chad we need to have a meeting about something tomorrow" I say
"Ok tell Alan and we can have it at the Starbucks on Rainbow Rd" Caleb says
"Ok" I say
I get my boys and head to the car. Next I go to Alan's to get Cynthia.
"Alan we're having a meeting tomorrow at Starbucks. The one on Rainbow Rd" I say
"Ok. Grace is at Chad's. She wanted to talk to Fallon about something." He says
"Alright" I say
I get Cynthia and go to the car. I put her in then head to Chad's.
*Grace POV*
I had Alan drop me off at Chad's so I could talk to her about something.
"Fallon I need your help with something." I say
"OK what is it" she asks
"Well Joey's birthday is while they're away on tour and I sort of want to plan a Surprise party for him and appear at the show" I say
"Well we can talk to the guys and have them help us plan it" she says
"Ok. That is great. Why don't we do it now" I say
"Ok. You might want to call Joey and tell him that Chad will take you home" she says
I call Joey and tell him. By the time I hang up the other guys are here. I go and sit in the living room next to Fallon.
"Ok so guys Joey's birthday is while you guys are on tour. I want to do a party and surprise him by showing up at the show that day. All I need help with is by surprising him at the show. The girls and I can deal with the party" I say
"Ok that sounds fun" Caleb says
"Can we squirt him with water guns" Chad asks
"Chadwick what would you want to do that" Fallon asks
"Actually that's not a bad idea" Alan says
"We could be singing top of the world and we pull out water guns as you appear on stage and you squirt him from behind and when he turns around he'll be so surprised and distracted that we can shoot him" Chad says
"I like that idea" I say
"Chad what's with you and Joey always after each other" Fallon asks
"Oh you should see them on the bus on tours" I say
"That is out of control" Alan says
"No it's not. We fight like brothers because we treat each other like brothers" Chad says
"Yeah yeah yeah. Chad I told Joey you'd bring me home so could you" I ask
"Sure lets go" he says
"Thanks. Bye guys" I say
We head out to his car.
"So Grace have you seen Cynthia yet" he asks
"No. I saw a picture that Joey sent me though. She's smaller than I thought." I say
"I know. The adoption center was trying to persuade Joe into adopting someone else but he wouldn't budge. I guess God has big plans for her and your family." He says
"Yeah" I say
He drops me off. I go inside and see Joe asleep on the couch. I go over and kiss his cheek. He sits up.
"Hey princess" he says
"Hey Joe. It's getting late why don't you go up to bed" I say
"Cynthia is still awake. I was going to wait until she falls asleep" he says
"Where is she" I ask
"In the swing" he says yawning
"Joe you look really tired. Go to bed. I got her" I say
"Ok thanks" he says kissing my forehead then going upstairs.
I take Cynthia out of the swing and rock her in my arms. She quickly falls asleep. I put her to bed and I go check on each of the boys. Joey Jr. is sound asleep just like Joey is. I go to Kyle's room and he's still awake. I go into his room and pick him up out of bed.
"Hey Kyle" I whisper
"Mommy" he happily says
"Hey bub" I say
"I love you" he says
"I love you too now go to bed" I say
"Ok mommy" he says
I put him down and he drifts off to sleep. I go to my own bed and fall asleep as well.

*Joey POV*
I wake up the next day early and hear crying from Cynthia's room. I go in and get her dressed then I put her in the car and I head to Starbucks. We get there and go inside. The others aren't her yet so I start to feed Cynthia her bottle. As she's finishing the guys arrive.
"Hey Joe. Did Cynthia wake you up" Caleb asks
"No she woke up when I did. The others weren't up so I brought her with" I say
"Alright. Well what did you want to talk about" Alan asks
"Well the boys' birthday is in three days and and Cynthia's birthday is the day after. I sort of want to do a party for them" I say
"Ok. What can we help with" Alan asks
"Hold up. Why don't we have a big party and celebrate you kids, mine, and Chad's all at once so we don't have to do so many" Caleb suggests
"Perfect." I say
We plan different things then head out. I decide to stop at Burger King drive through and get some lunch for Grace and me. Also some chicken nuggets for the boys. I get home and go inside.
"Hey princess! hey boys!" I say
"Dada!" The boys yell running to me
"Hey kiddos" I say
"Hey Joe" Grace says
"I brought some lunch home" I say
"Ok but I don't want any" Grace says
"Ok well will you at least eat some peanut butter or something" I ask
"Fine" she says
We eat lunch then watch a couple movies. We eat some dinner then head to bed.
