Chapter 8: The New Job Part 1

                                              Fourteen years later it is now July 10th  2001 the pizzarias and the megaplex still has it's eighties vibes as it did back in 1987 Fazbear Entertainment chose not to change the look of the restaurants as it was what people loved as well loving the old look of th animatronics from normal freddy all the way up to the glamrock versions and it reminded the customers of the eighties and how the eighties was back then which gives people nostalgia; It was a sunny day the trees were green and lush, windy but a light breeze rather than a harrowing wind as it had been years before and there in the middle of the rows was the Emily household which still looked the same as it did in 1987 except now the garden was filled with plants and a Harley Davidson 2001 model motorbike on the little driveway and the old car parked behind it which had been repaired a few times, trelises went up the side of the house with roses Violet insisted that Mrs Emily would have loved to have seen them if she had been around.
                                             Violet has now grown into a young lady, eighteen years old with long blond hair, her young eyes that had seen so many things that her father Henry had been trying so hard to shield her from, her body still as skinny as it was when she was a child now she is four foot nine and not so little anymore. Henry tried his best to shield Violet from all the wrong at Freddy Fazbears but he knew he couldn't protect her forever and the day that he dreaded got nearer and nearer so while in his office he records a message for Charlotte and Violet, after he finishes recording his message he turns off the tape player a knock on his office door comes he calls out
"Come in!"
The door opens and in walks Violet she chuckles going over to Henry and hugs him from behind Violet states happily
"Worked all night again Dad?"
"As always of course" Henry replies hugging her arms knowing that he should have slept
"Dad you know you're supposed to take a break and sleep otherwise you don't function, come on I'll make you a coffee" Violet replies with a smile
"Thank you sweetie and yes I know I'm supposed to but I have to get this finished we still can't get foxy's voice working" Henry replies following Violet to the kitchen
Violet looks at her Dad with almost a firm but stern look and replies with a smile
"Now Pa I know if I said that to you you would make me rest so I say the same to you time to rest and sleep "
"You're right, you win, very well I shall rest and sleep" Henry replies with a chuckle
"Good pa" Violet chuckles making them both a coffee she sets it down then states happily
"Oh by the way Dad I have an interview later this afternoon"
"Oh you do for where?" Henry asks intrigued taking a sip of his coffee
"Freddy Fazbears as a security guard" Violet replies
Henry almost chokes on his drink he manages to just about swallow the mouthful he had he looks at Violet and asks fearful for her
"Why?"
"Pa I cannot hide from that place forever I have to face my fears eventually" Violet sighs and confesses
"Just promise me that you will be safe" Henry replies still worried for her
"I promise to Pa" Violet comfortingly replies and pats her dad's arm and takes a sip of her drink
"Thank you sweetheart" Henry feeling slightly comforted takes his daughters hand
Violet pats his hand and finishes her coffee she looks at the time
"Pa I have to go but I will be home later alright" Violet states standing up she kisses her dad on the head softly hugging him she then tells him sternly "get some sleep"
"I will I will go and hey Vi" Henry replies with a smile
"Yeah dad?" Violet replies with a smile
"You look after yourself alright" Henry states smiling
"I will dad I promise" Violet comfortingly states with a smile and heads out the door grabbing her keys and her helmet to her motorbike that Henry brought her a few months ago after she passed her tests, Violet puts her helmet on and climbs onto the motorbike starting the engine she pushes the kickstand up and starts to drive off the little driveway she checks the roads either way before taking off towards Freddy Fazbears.
                                                 Violet arrives at Freddy Fazbears parking in the parking lot at the back of the building she turns off the motorbike, takes off her helmet and sits it on the handlebar taking the keys out of the engine she looks at the building that had haunted her for years since she was four she takes a deep slow breath knowing now she has to face it whether she wanted to or not, she gets off the bike and heads into the building, as she does she sees a man she walks over to him and confidently and calmly states
"excuse me I'm here for an interview"
the man looks up and states
"Ah you must be Vanessa I'm Mr Grimshaw"
"No sir I'm Violet Emily"
the man looks at the clipboard and states with a smile
"ah indeed yes sorry Vanessa is the lady afterwards allow me to take you to the security office"
"Yes please" Violet replies smiling
Mr Grimshaw takes her to the security office there Mr Grimshaw states
"Meet Nathan Crawford he's our daytime security guard"
"Nate? oh my goodness it's been a few years" Violet smiles at Nate
"Vi, long time no see" Nate smiles looking at her
"Oh you two know each other well that makes things a bit easier" Mr Grimshaw states with a grin then continues "So Violet do you think you'd enjoy working here as a night-time security guard"
"I would yes" Violet replies smiling still a bit worried about the animatronics but she still keeps confident and calm
"Do you know much about animatronics?" Mr Grimshaw asks
"Yes sir I do I've known about them since I was four" Violet responds in confidence *
"And do you know about the policies we put in place" Mr Grimshaw asks
"Yes sir" Violet responds again with confidence
"Then consider yourself hired you start tomorrow night"
"Thank you" Violet smiles
Mr Grimshaw smiles giving her everything she needs then states
"I shall leave you two to get reaquainted with one another"
Violet smiles as Mr Grimshaw leaves, she sits down in the chair next to Nate.
                                             Meanwhile back at the Emily household Henry was in his study working on some of the project but what he didn't realise is that one of the animatronics Baby ,who was possessed by Elizabeth Afton, had snuck into the house through the tunnels under the house she goes into the study walks over to Henry and with her hands she grabs one of the screwdrivers and stabs it into his neck Henry screams, blood splurting out everywhere as Henry gargles and tries to speak the only word he manages to say before finally dying is Violet, Baby then sneaks back out of the house through the tunnel she came through before the hatch closing after her; within an hour the police arrived at the house after frantic calls from the neighbours hearing the scream coming from inside they investigate the house after getting inside. After finding Henry's body the head officer which is called Detective Inspector Peters he gets out his phone and calls Violet's number after finding it he waits for her to answer, very soon she does
"Hello?" Violet answers
"Miss Emily, this is Detective Inspector Peters I need you to come home immediately"
"Why? what's happened?" Violet replies worried
"I'm so sorry Miss Emily but it's your father Henry"
Violet almost drops the phone she mouths her apologies to Nate and goes out the door of Freddy Fazbears, unbeknownst to her Nate follows
"I am on my way" Violet states hanging up she puts on her helmet and puts the keys in the ignition and turns the key starting the ignition she drives home as fast and as safely as she can, once she gets there she sees all the police cars and then she sees the body being carried out on a stretcher with a blanket over the top she turns off the ignition and gets off the bike after putting the kickstand down tears form in her eyes and then what she didn't want to do but lo and behold it happened anyway she screamed a gut wrenching scream as her tears that were rolling down her cheeks turned to sobs, one of the officers goes over to her and puts a comforting arm around her as Nate arrives on a motorbike of his own he turns off the engine and puts his own kickstand down he gets off the motorbike he runs over to Violet and hugs her motioning to the officer that it's alright that he has her the officer nods and steps back Violet through tears and sobs finally speaks her head on Nate's shoulder as he hugs her
"Who could have done this?"
"I do not know but I am so sorry Violet" Nate confirms comfortingly
Violet sobs against his shoulder cuddling him she exclaims against his shoulder
"But why did he have to die?"
"We don't know that he's dead Vi he might still be alive" Nate replies comfortingly
Violet looks at him almost screaming in his face
"He's dead he has a blanket over him they wouldn't have done that if he didn't die I'd be able to talk to him they'd let me see his face they'd let me...." Violet doesn't finish her sentance as she bursts into sobs again, Nate puts his hands on her shoulders and tells her calmly
"Alright, alright I'm sorry Vi I'm sorry I will take you back to mine for tonight"
Violet nods sobbing and replies through sniffles
"Thank you and...and I'm sorry for shouting"
"Shh it's alright" Nate replies comfortingly and calmly takes her to his bike as he does one of the officers go over and states
"I'm sorry miss you've got to come with me we have to get your statement"
"My statement?!" Violet exclaims
"You can't be serious she's just got here and seen her dad's body being taken into an ambulance" Nate responds almost angry
"It's procedure sir plus her fingerprints were found on the murder weapon"
Violet passes Nate the helmet tears still in her eyes and states as calmly as she can
"Very well but he follows on behind I'm not being stuck there when I have an alibi"
The officer nods puts cuffs on her reading her her rights and puts her into the policecar, Nate straps the helmet to the back puts on his own and follows the police car once it sets off, once they get to the police station Nate gets off the moterbike  and follows the policeman inside as he takes Violet in the policeman takes Violet to the interview room leaving Nate outside he takes off the handcuffs and puts her hands in the handcuffs on the table instead the policeman states turning on the tape recorder
"I am Constable Jenkins the handcuffs are just for precaution your name is Violet Emily correct?"
"That is correct" Violet responds agreeing
"Now we found your fingerprints on the murder weapon can you explain why that may be?" Constable Jenkins asked
"Because Henry my dad was teaching me how to fix the animatronics but I didn't kill my dad I loved him I wasn't even at home when it happened I was with Nathan Crawford as I had just finished my interview at Freddy Fazbears and then I was catching up with Nathan as he's a very old friend of mine" Violet replies sniffling
"Any witnesses to this?" the Constable asks keeping stern
"Yes Nathan Crawford and my new boss Mr Grimshaw" Violet states confidently sniffling again
"Very well we shall have a word with Mr Crawford and Mr Grimshaw as of this moment the interview is terminated" Constable Jenkins confirms standing up turning off the tape he looks at Violet and states
"stay in here I will conduct an interview with Mr Crawford and I will speak to Mr Grimshaw and I will be back"
Violet nods sniffling, The constable leaves the interview room then takes Nathan to a second interview room and sits him down he then phones Mr Grimshaw and gets his statement he grabs a laptop and goes into where Nate is and sits down Constable Jenkins stated
"Mr Crawford I need your statement Miss Emily says she was with you Mr Grimshaw also said this I need your confirmation or evidence Mr Grimshaw says you have codes to the cctv to freddy fazbears"
"I was with Violet Emily and I do indeed have the codes to the cctv" Nathan looks at him also stating
"Violet is innocent she wouldn't have killed her father"
"I shall be the judge of that Mr Crawford please pull up the cctv so I can have a look" Constable Jenkins replies almost sternly putting in his password and turns the laptop to Nathan, Nathan slides the laptop to him and goes to the cctv network and types in the password
"here you go" Nathan confirms and turns the laptop back towards the constable.
The Constable takes the laptop and starts to trawl through the cctv and there he sees Violet in Freddy Fazbears at the time of the murder of Henry Emily he nods and closes the laptop he looks at Nathan and states
"You can wait outside"
The Constable takes the laptop he leads Nathan out he sets the laptop down in his office then goes to the first interview room and goes in he turns on the tape
"This is Constable Jenkins concluding the interview of Miss Violet Emily there was cctv evidence proving where she was she is innocent"
He turns off the tape and unlocks the handcuffs he looks at Violet and states
"You are free to go Miss Emily"
Violet nods standng up and goes out to Nathan she hugs him and bursts into tears again, he hugs her comfortingly and tells her calmly offering her a tissue
"Come on lets get you to mine I'll make you food and get you something to drink"
Violet nods again and walks with Nathan to his bike taking the tissue and wipes her eyes Nathan gets on putting his helmet on, Violet puts hers on and climbs on behind him holding onto him as Nathan drives off back to his home Violet holds on thoughts swimming through her head about what happened to her father and who could have actually done it her first thought is William Afton but no he died she saw him die with her own eyes or had she? Her next thought was who could have been so cruel and that's when it hit her the only thing that could have one of the animatronics but not one that her father was working on but some of the others the ones he wasn't working on, the ones William was working on that's why they only found her fingerprints and no other fingerprints as those were the tools that she had used to help Henry with the animatronics Violet continued to hold on tight as Nathan drove to his house .
