FNAF: The Lonely Child

Chapter 1: The Birthday Party Part 2

                                          A few short days later the birthday party arrived the present was wrapped and the card was written out, Henry ,a single parent there was no Mrs Emily around she had left after the untimely death of Charlotte, was trying to get a squirming excited Violet into  her party dress he chuckled as he had finally managed to get her in her dress now he just had to get her in her shoes, Henry looks at Violet and exclaims laughing
"Stay still will you figget pants"
"But daddy I'm so excited the party is today" Violet replies also laughing
"yes but if you don't stop squirming figget I can't get your shoes on" Henry laughs as he gets the shoes onto her and then starts to brush her brown hair and puts it into a nice ponytail for her. Violet looks at her father and smiles softly she stands up and looks at him stating
"Alright daddy I'm ready"
Henry smiles and holds his hand out to her grabbing the card and the present, Violet smiles and takes his hand as they head out to the car.
                                     Once they get outside the wind is not blowing as much today it's more of a calm breeze swaying the trees very softly and slowly, the leaves weren't moving as much this time which is unusual for June, June is usually sunny and with no wind but on this day the Sixteenth June 1987 it is slightly windy perhaps this was to reflect Henry's own fears about going to Freddy Fazbears the one place he lost his daughter Charlotte, Henry looks over at Violet a smile appears on his face seeing her playing with the leaves that had been shaken off the tree from the wind he reminices about his own daughter doing that before her untimely death at the hands of the culprit from the missing children's incident in 1983, Henry smiles and states unlocking the car
"Come on Vi lets get you in the car otherwise we're going to be late"
"Yes daddy" Violet replies smiling skipping over to him and gets in the car
Henry smiles softly then gets into the car himself after shutting her door he starts the car up buckling up his seatbelt he smiles as Violet also does, he starts to drive to Freddy Fazbears winding the window down a bit to let a bit of air into the car Henry asks
"Would you like the radio on sweetie?"
"Yes please pa"
Henry smiles, reaches over and puts the radio on as he drives then starts to hum along to the radio and tapping his hands on the steering wheel in time to the beat of the song, Violet giggles watching her father tap along and hum to the radio she gets comfortable.
                                      Soon Henry and Violet arrive at Freddy Fazbears, Henry parks up gets out of the car then goes around to help Violet of the car, after which he gets the present and card out of the car shutting the doors he locks the car he looks over to Freddy Fazbear's taking Violets hand inside he can hear the children of the party laughing Henry squashes his fears hearing the laughter he takes Violet over to the door opens it and goes in with her once inside he barely gets to tell Violet to behave before she lets go of his hand and runs over to Lucy, Henry chuckles softly and sets down the present and card on the table that has been set out. Violet starts to play with Lucy happily, Henry smiles surrounded by laughter once again his fears starting to slowly ebb away. He sits down at one of the tables knowing that the only other parent that is there is Lucy's mother as the rest of the parents of the children had stuff to do, Henry smiles as the children are playing and Lucy opens all her presents when she gets to Violets present Lucy squeaks with happiness hugs the plushbear and Violet thanking her Henry chuckles thinking to himself 'I guess Violet was right she would like that one' Henry turns to the mother of Lucy who he learns is called Cierra Andrews while he is conversing with Cierra, a few hours later it would be about five pm these parties go on for quite a while Henry found but was thoroughly enjoying the conversaton with Cierra, Lucy wanders off likely to find the bathroom, as they sit there the announcement comes over the pa system 'five minutes til foxy's  night time show' upon hearing that Violet also wanders off to find Lucy.
                                       As Violet is walking down the hallways to find Lucy things started to seem less fun and started to become more spooky unaware of where Lucy is Violet looks into the different rooms that are along the way to the bathroom looking for her, Violet stumbles upon a back room that seemed to be a storage room there in the corner was a freddy fazbear suit, Violet had always been fascinated with the suits but as she got closer what she had assumed to be fluffy stuffing wasn't fluffy stuffing at all but tufts of hair instead, the smell she had assumed to be the musty smell of the suit was actually the smell of a body decomposing and the red stains she had at first thought was jam from the parties was actually blood. Violet screams and starts to cry running out of the room and runs back to the party in a flood of tears hearing the crying Henry looks over seeing his daughter in tears he goes over and kneels beside her he asks her gently and worried
"what's wrong?"
Violet wasn't sure how to answer she wasn't sure how to describe what she had seen so she stuttered her answer
"Freddy injured...backroom....he's got jam all over him"
Jam? that's the one word that stuck with Henry wondering how to process this information he passes Violet to Cierra and goes to the back room by which time Lucy had returned to the party all she had done was gone to the bathroom. Entering the back room he sees it what Violet had described the freddy fazbear suit sitting there slumped over blood or jam as Violet had described all over the front of the suit and inside that tuft of hair Henry's fears that had slowly ebbed away came back with a vengence his fear became true the culprit of the missing childrens incident, the one who had taken his daughter Charlotte from him that fateful night in 1983 had come back and started killing again.
                                   Henry leaves the back room locking it with a spare key he had, all of these thoughts swimming in his head the night that Charlotte got killed, Violet seeing something that she should never have seen, the culprit that was involved in the missing childrens incident it all pointed to one person in Henry's mind William Afton his old business partner that had been arrested in 1983 after the first missing children hadn't been found and now here in the place he hated so much one of the bodies just happened to be found by Violet. It didn't make sense to him why now after so many years did William come back? why is he killing again? Henry walks over to Violet kneels down and wraps his arms around his daughter thanking Cierra for watching over her as he comforts his shaking frightened daughter explaining that the animatronics had scared her seeing that the fluid was leaking from the animatronic and that it wasnt jam and that he would come by at a later date to fix it not wanting to worry the Cierra the only parent present or  the children Cierra nodded that she understood with a smile she looks at Violet and pats her head gently, but there was one other question that came to the back of Henry's mind as he comforted this shaking girl did William know about Violet even Henry himself knew that Violet wasn't biologically his he had taken her in from the orphanage the same year Charlotte had died, so now Henry wondered if William was looking for her, Violet, but then why the killing again what was William's plan? Henry looks down at the young girl he stands up picking Violet into his arm he thanks Cierra for the party and for the invite but then informs them that he should take Violet home, Cierra nods understanding thanking them for coming she cuts a piece of cake each for Henry and Violet putting Violet's in a little party bag that had been made up to be given at the end of the party and the one for Henry in a serviette she brings them over to Henry. He thanks her taking the party bag and the serviette he carries Violet out of the pizzeria and back to the car he opens the car door and sets her in gently and buckles her up he shuts the door he takes another look at freddy fazbears before getting into the car himself buckling up he starts the engine and puts a calming cd on for Violet and starts to drive, glad to see the back of that place but also wondering in his head what horrors might follow him home.
                                Soon Henry and Violet get home, once he parks up he gets out of the car shuts his door goes around to Violets door opens it and lifts her out of the car seeing that she had fallen asleep he holds her close to him shutting the car door then goes over to the front door opening it he carries her inside and shuts the door he looks down at the young girl in his arms sadness surrounding him he whispers
"I promise to look after you and protect you"
Henry after making his promise takes Violet to her bedroom opening the door he carries her to the bed lays her down takes off her dress and shoes and gets her into her pjamas and puts her into the bed covering her up with the duvet he strokes her hair kissing her forehead softly he then creeps out of the room and shuts the door quietly, Henry goes to his little office inside the house and starts to get to work on these little teddy bears that he lovingly calls Golden Freddy that will help keep Violet safe inside the teddy bears he built a walkie talkie inside so he can talk to her when he's not there which was rare or for when he's in his office underneath the house and the nanny is taking care of her, satisfied with his creation after hours and hours of tireless work he creeps silently over to Violet's bedroom placing one on her dresser he creeps back out of the room and sets one in the living room and one in the hallway, the last one he takes down to his basement with a walkie talkie next to it he takes a deep breath and leaves the basement he looks at the grandfather clock in the living room seeing that it is midnight he heads to bed tired but now satisfied that Violet will be safer or at least safer for now, Henry falls into a deep sleep unaware that a spirit that was killed by the culprit inhabits the plushtoy that he left in Violets room to keep her safe the spirit is Cassidy or at least a part of Cassidy the one that William Afton should not have killed the one that should have been left alone, where as poor Violet has a restless sleep seeing nightmares of the animatronics and of that suit that had the tuft of hair coming out, as the night goes on her nightmares become more and more bizzare. Violet tosses and turns as she sees nightmare Freddy and nightmare Bonnie coming for her Violet wants to scream but finds herself trapped in this nightmare of checking the closet and checking the hallway from both sides which she thinks is virtually impossible as she only has one door into her room and then turning back to her bed is a plushtoy of freddy glitching out Violet starts to shake and awakens herself out of this nightmare sweating she looks around the room and there on the dresser is the plushtoy of Freddy she goes over and picks it up thinking to herself 'daddy must have made this to keep me safe' she cuddles it close to her and carries it back to the bed and starts to fall back asleep hoping that she won't see the nightmares once more.
                                 The next morning Henry is still asleep in his bed when Violet comes into the room holding the plushbear Freddy and crawls up onto the bed she kisses her daddy's cheek and snuggles against him the nightmares hadn't gone away, Henry slowly wakes up and sees Violet next to him he sees she has the plushbear in her arms he looks down at her and states calmly and lovingly
"I see you found the bear I made for you"
"Yes daddy I couldn't sleep last night"
"Did you have nightmares?" Henry asks concerned
"Yes pa" Violet confirms
"Oh sweetheart why didn't you come and get me?" Henry comforts her putting his arms around Violet also comfortingly
"Because I didn't want to wake you papa" Violet exclaims cuddling Henry and the plushtoy
"Oh bless you sweetheart, come on lets get up and I'll get you your favourite breakfast fruit loops how does that sound?" Henry asks Violet with a reassuring smile
"Yes please daddy I'd like that very much" Violet beams with a big smile getting up from the bed, Henry also gets up and gets his dressing gown on and takes Violet downstairs to the kitchen he states
"Alright then princess lets get you at the table and I'll get you your fruit loops and your strawberry milk and daddy will get himself a coffee"
"Yay" Violet replies with another beaming smile and runs to the dining room table where they always eat breakfast and lunch and dinner she climbs up onto the chair where she usually sits also setting the plushtoy on the table, while Henry is starting to sorting himself a coffee and gets Violet's breakfast he can hear Violet talking to the plushtoy another reminiscent of how Charlotte used to talk to her teddies, Violet says to the plush freddy
"Now Mr Freddy I'm going to eat my breakfast you have to sit there like a good plush boy or no tea party"
Henry brings over the bowl and strawberry milk he chuckles softly seeing Violet's sassy face towards the plushbear he sets down the bowl and the glass he looks at the plushbear joining in with Violets little game he states quite firmly
"she's the boss you gotta do what she says if she says you gotta sit there like a good plush boy then you better sit there like a good plush boy or no tea party"
Violet gives a cheeky grin and starts to eat her breakfast, Henry chuckles and goes back into the main part of the kitchen and finishes making his coffee once he finishes making it he takes a sip and looks over at Violet inside he is deeply saddened to hear that Violet had nightmares about what she had seen yesterday at the party he hopes that the plushbear will help Henry heads to the bedroom and gets dressed as he's got to go to work and that Violet has the nanny coming he comes back to the living room after getting dressed and says
"Once you've finished your breakfast get dressed sweetie the nanny is coming today daddy has to go to work"
"Can't you stay and play with me papa just for today?" Violet asks almost pleading
"I'm sorry sweetie not today but you are off for a week so maybe I can play tomorrow but daddy has to make sure all of the robots work you remember daddy has an important job"
"Yes papa" Violet replies a bit saddened but knows that he has to work to earn money, Henry walks over to her and hugs her close to him telling her
"I promise tonight I will read you whatever story you want and I know it's a sunday but this one is an emergency"
"I understand daddy and you have to read me the bears adventure"
Henry chuckles replying
"your first ever book of course I'll read it for you tonight"
Just then the doorbell rings, Henry gets up goes over to the door and looks through the peephole seeing it's the nanny he opens the door and welcomes the nanny inside Henry smiles softly over at Violet goes over to her kissing her head
"you were supposed to be dressed by now but never mind you be a good girl and I'll see you tonight"
"See you tonight daddy" Violet smiles
Henry smiles then grabs his jacket and his keys putting his shoes on and heads out the door to his car, getting into the car he buckles up and takes a deep breath hoping that Violet will be alright and that nothing bad will happen to her while he is not at the house.
                                   Meanwhile Violet is back at the house in her bedroom playing with the plushtoy of Golden Freddy but how she wishes to go back to Freddy Fazbears but the mere memory from yesterday starts to make her cry when she thinks she can hear the bear talking to her telling her ' remember what you saw, you know what will happen if he catches you'  the tears fall from her eyes as she cuddles the plus bear close to her the tears falling onto the plushtoys fur she looks over at her other plushtoys of Foxy, Chica, Freddy and Bonnie she once more thinks she hears Golden Freddy talking to her telling her 'we're still your friends ,you believe that don't you, we won't let anything happen to you we won't let you be broken'  Violet merely nods wipes her eyes and continues to play with her toys once more while the nanny is cleaning and doing other chores in the household Violet sets the plushbear down and starts doing the tea party as she orignally promised the plushbear as he was good at breakfast. At Work Henry is working on the baby animatronic when he sees Violet interacting with the plushbear seeing her cry from the cameras he installed which he managed to find on his desktop through some clever hacking he sees how scared and sad Violet is he wishes he didn't have to be at work and that he could be at home with Violet however fixing baby was more important as he knows that if he didn't William would soon get his hands on baby instead and start to mess with the core programming that he had set out. Henry takes a breath and a little break as he watches his daughter through the eyes of the plushtoy and sees the nanny doing the chores as she's meant to but he secretly wishes that the Nanny would go over to Violet and play with her some more but he also knew if he tried to speak to the nanny through the walkie talkie in the plushtoy it would freak her out and probably break the plush toy he couldn't risk that not after what had happened yesterday at the party, not after seeing Violet so scared he couldn't risk losing the plushbears and not be able to see what is happening with Violet he couldn't risk William potentially getting close to the household and not being able to save Violet like he wished he could have saved Charlotte that fateful night when he had left Charlotte his own four year old daughter at a birthday party at Fredbears Family Diner where she had been locked outside and then been killed by William Afton aka purple guy, the only thing Henry is certain of is that his daughter's spirit resides in the security puppet who went outside to try and save her and now she wants them to be saved the kids who went missing 
                             It is here when Henry realises the kid Violet found in the suit is one of the kids that went missing that dreadful night when his daughter got killed, that dreadful thought swims around in his head as he continues his work on Baby's animatronic througout that day hoping that this work day would soon be over so he can get back to his house and back to the daughter he took on knowing full well that Violet is someone else's daughter, he knows who's daughter she is but doesn't know how to tell Violet so for now he decided to keep it a secret. It is then Henry's thoughts turn to William Afton his old business partner and Mrs Afton who either died or went missing, William Afton who got caught and put in prison, the crying child who he believes is called Michael got killed in the bite of 1983 and Evan William's older son who was nowhere to be found, now things were starting to all make sense in Henry's mind of why William came back he's come back to get back at Henry and take Violet from him why he couldn't be sure although he had a lot of theories as to why William is back but the only thing he did not know is in what form William would come back in whether it would be in the Golden Bonnie suit that he was notorious for killing in or if it would be in the springtrap form that he had heard all about but he couldn't be sure if it had actually happened it was just a rumour that had been floating around throughout the two restaurants from customers and from Fazbear Entertainment or as his old partner how he remembered him how he first met him and this, this is what frightened Henry the most and this is what haunted him over and over at night.
