Chapter 3: The Horror Within

                                                      Henry horrified looks at the body of his former partner and old friend springtrapped into this golden bonnie suit, Henry backs up sweating and scared he backs out of the room and seals it shut once more or he thought he had he takes a moment getting his breath back he thinks back to Violet in the office he gets a hankerchief out of his pocket wiping the sweat from his face and comes back into camera view he picks up the walkie talkie from his belt and says into the walkie talkie
"alright sweetheart I'm coming back to the office now"
"Alright daddy no one has come to the office but I'm still scared daddy the lights keep flickering in the hallway" Violets timid but trying to be brave voice comes through onto the walkie talkie
"Alright sweetheart I'm on my way" Henry confirms through the walkie talkie and starts heading back to the office still a bit fearful of what he just saw in the safe room but knows that he must keep Violet safe no matter what, as he is walking back to the office that eerie feeling creeps up on him once more he feels that this isn't over. As he gets back to the office he sees Violet is sitting on the chair cuddling the freddy plushbear staring at the screen he goes over but before he can ask her what she's looking at he sees exactly what she is seeing out of the safe room is Springtrap coming down the hallway but how? Henry was sure he had sealed that room perhaps he hadn't Henry puts down the flashlight and the walkietalkie and picks Violet up not wanting to take the fredbear out of her arms he leaves the office and makes his way to the backdoor hearing the squeaking and the footsteps of the Springtrap animatronic walking down the hallway he takes Violet outside to the car and gets her in and then he looks over and sees the gascans he knows what he must do he looks at Violet and instructs her
"Stay here do not move alright Vi"
Violet nods buckling up and cuddles the plushbear, Henry walks over to the gascan picks it up goes into the building and starts spreading the gas around the establishment Springtrap tries to grab Henry but Henry moves then drops the gas can goes back to the door he came in from gets a pack of matches out of his pocket lights the match drops it into the building and runs to the car as the gas starts to ignite Henry gets in the car buckles up and starts to drive but what he doesn't realise is that Springtrap aka William Afton got out of the building, burnt, springtrapped but still alive somehow even though it seemed impossible.
                                                         Henry drives to his workshop reeling from what he just did and from what he saw in that safe room, as he gets to the workshop he parks up he looks over at Violet who can see is visably shaking and crying he reaches over and puts a comforting hand on her shoulder then looks saddened he looks at her lovingly and caringly he exclaims
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have taken you there, that was my fault I should have found somewhere else for you to go while I went there"
Violet sniffles and shuffles over to hug her father she tells him saddened but also scared
"It's not your fault daddy, Freddy told me it was alright and that I was safe just like you said papa"
Henry looks at the freddy plushbear that Violet was still holding he wondered if Charlotte his daughter's spirit had gone into the freddy plushbear instead to keep Violet safe as he had promised; he hugs Violet close to him he strokes Violet's hair gently then says to her softly and caringly
"Come on lets go into my workshop for a bit and then I will take you for some pizza at freddy fazbears how does that sound?"
Violet shakes her head softly and replies
"Pizza yes but not freddy fazbears papa, I don't want to go there"
"Alright sweetheart we'll go and find a pizza place" Henry strokes her hair softly then gets out of the car then goes around and helps her out of the car and takes her into the workshop he notices the trapdoor that hid Circus Baby's Rentals and Entertaintment or Sister Location had been used he goes over to it and shuts it fully he then goes over to one of the shelves and gets down one of his oldest inventions he looks back over at Violet and motions her over, Violet timedly goes over still shooken up from what she just witnessed Henry tells her
"You remember your first ever book I brought you?"
Violet nods tears falling from her eyes and rolling down her cheeks she tells Henry
"The bears adventure"
"That's correct Freddy the one you are holding was one of my first creations but I also made this" Henry replies holding a purple bunny rabbit he kneels down beside Violet
"What's his or her name daddy?" Violet asks wiping her tears
"His name is Bonnie I made this rabbit to make children happy I even gave him a guitar so he could be in a band with freddy"
"He's cute pa" Violet replies and pats the rabbit's head softly
"He is I did make him for you but after what happened at Freddy Fazbears I left him here as I didn't want you scared" Henry sets the bunny down and puts his arms around Violet comfortingly stroking her hair once more Henry looks at the young girl and states
"I also noticed you like animatronics would you like to learn how they work?"
Violet's eyes light up and nods now excited, Henry smiles softly sets her down gently goes over to his work bench and gets a stool for her to get up on.
                                                       Throughout the day Henry works on the animatronics that are left showing Violet how they all slot together but also how they work he smiles seeing her excited and inquisative but he also hopes that this won't lead to nightmares or to wanting to head back to fazbears immediately but his worries ebb away as he sees Violet still is a little unsure about the animatronics, he rubs her back gently as she kneels up on the stool watching everything that Henry is doing, Violet notices something inside the animatronic she points at it and asks
"Daddy what is that?"
"It's a voice mimic but most of them I have made are broken the voices don't always work which is what I'm trying to fix at the moment they're supposed to sing however nine times out of ten they glitch and don't sing they just garble instead, Foxy is the one who's mostly broken at the moment"
"Is that why that night I saw what I saw that Foxy wasn't on the stage when they said he was going to be?" Violet asks
"Not quite sweetheart  but this is why  I am trying to fix him and trying to fix his voice box" Henry confirms smiling at Violet
"Poor Lucy she didn't get to see her favourite perform" Violet replies a bit saddened but happy that he might be able to be fixed, Henry then looks at her and says with a smile
"Actually in a way Lucy did because we had a failsafe in place in case this ever happened we have foxy go out and perform as usual but instead of him singing a tape backstage plays what he is supposed to be singing we've been working on his voice box for years we think we're getting closer but unfortunately we're getting no closer"
"You'll get there papa I believe you" Violet replies smiling
Henry smiles looking at Violet and puts an arm around her and kisses her head softly and lovingly as if she was his own, he wishes she was.
                                                         Meanwhile William after being springtrapped and burnt ambles his way to the hospital and goes to the window and looks in there in the window is his youngest son in a coma from the bite of 1983, tears appear in his burnt eyes as he watches his son taking his final breaths and wishes that he can be by his side and then he feels another emotion, anger, he feels angry at Henry for burning him, William shuffles off away from the window not seeing that his other son Evan had walked into the room to sit by his brothers beside trying to will him on to live and to hold on but knows that it is probably too late. William vows to put his son back together the only way he can he goes back to Circus Baby's Rentals and Entertainment he starts to work by making another robot to put the soul of his son into, tears fall down William's burnt face as he finishes making the robot he lays the robot of his son into a box ready to put remnant into it he then locks the box and puts the key in a safe place where only he can find it, William then leaves Circus Baby's Rentals and Entertainment or CBRE for short and starts trying to find somewhere that he can go and then he sees it in front of him the new mega plex that is coming with an advert stuck to the window that coming soon Roxanne wolf, Glamrock Chica,Glamrock Freddy and Montgomery Gator will be arriving late 1988, Wiliam smirks to himself knowing that this will be the perfect place to start again; he shuffles over to the door in the floor that would lead to the basement he breaks open the lock and climbs into the basement and there he sees it the first ever location his first place that he killed Fredbears Diner that got transformed into a freddy fazbears pizzeria he realises he can hide out here without being discovered or found as long as he didn't make any noise and didn't alert them to his location.
                                                           Back at the workshop Henry is re-assembling the voice box of Foxy's back together; still not working and still broken, he looks over to Violet and sees that she is asleep her head on the desk next to him, he picks her up and carries her over to the sofa and lays her down covering her with a blanket he kisses her head before heading back over to the workbench. Henry looks puts all the parts back to where they was he then looks at the Freddy plushbear and the Bonnie plushbears together, he takes a breath looking into the eyes of these seemless lifeless creations; as he does there he sees it a glint of something familiar tears start to shine in Henry's eyes he sets down the two bears he takes a deep breath and wipes his eyes, frightened and scared for the child he has taken in he wondered to himself what he had brought this young girl into. Henry also knows that this young girl is going to grow up and that he would have to continue protecting her from William Afton not knowing what Afton plans to do with her if he ever found her; Henry doubted that William would be a loving father to Violet he even scoffed at the idea as Henry hasn't got a father-figure bone in his body, Henry thought to himself somewhat maliciously 'look what happened to his son he got bitten by an animatronic when he was supposed to be caring for him, his daughter got scooped by Baby when he was supposed to be watching, his other son Evan no where to be found he's certainly not what you would call Dad of the year' It was at these thoughts Henry realised that he was now becoming as bad as William, he was slating his old business partner and oldest friend, Henry put his head in his hands not wanting to become like William; a horrible person that would eventually become killer. Henry took another deep breath before wiping his eyes again and looking up as he does Violet is sitting up looking at him concerned she asks quietly
"Papa is everything alright?"
"Yeah sweetie daddy's alright I promise" Henry replies looking at this sweet little girl
"Are you sure daddy?" Violet gets up asking goes over to him and hugs him
Henry hugs her back then looks at the time
"Daddy is sure and we better get you home and to bed it's late" Henry exclaims he swoops her into his arms with the Bonnie and Freddy plushbears and takes Violet back to the car, he puts her in the car buckles up, takes a fleeting look at the workshop the trapdoor bugging him why was it open? who was there? why was they there? Henry gets into the car and starts driving home allowing these thoughts to swim around his head.
                                                   Once Henry gets home he picks a once again sleeping Violet out of the car after turning off the car, he locks the car, walks up to the house unlocks the door and carries her into the house; which tonight certainly seemed more eerie than it had any other night Henry carries Violet to her bedroom lays her down, getting her into her pjamas lays her back down on the bed and tucks her into the bed with the plushbear Bonnie knowing that he must wash the Freddy one as it had been in that abandoned building for a long time so instead he gets the plushbear of golden freddy that he made and lays that next to her instead. Henry leaves the room and goes to the kitchen filling the sink of water and soap he thinks to himself 'alright Mr Fredbear now it's time to give you a wash and just like that I have become Violet talking to the plushtoys' Henry chuckles to himself as he starts to wash the plushbear and then a calming wave comes across him, the eerieness of the house starts to wash away like the dirt does and mustiness from the fredbear. Henry sits the fredbear on the draining board then heads over to the living room and turns on the little tv that sits in his living room he gets up seeing it is out of tune and turns the dials that are on the tv itself tunes it to a channel after messing with the aerial a little and turns it down with the volume dial so he doesn't wake up Violet once he is satisfied with the channel and the volume he sits back down on the sofa and gets comfortable, as he is watching the tv he falls asleep as he does he sees the nightmares that has been haunting him for the last few nights but this time it is a little different; In this dream he sees Springtrap coming down the hallway stumbling slowly towards him as he sits in the office watching all of the cameras, but then he hears a voice telling him 'daddy run he's the purple guy he's the one who took me, he's the one who killed the one who shouldn't have been killed, run dad run!' Henry starts to get up in the dream but as he turns he finds that he is cornered in the office by Freddy and Bonnie and as he's about to run Freddy and Bonnie both attack biting him. Henry jolts awake still finding himself sitting on the sofa and on the tv is an advert for the new Mega plex with the new animatronics coming late 1988, Henry shudders gets up walks over to the tv and turns it off shaking off the horrible feeling that things in his world are going to get darker, he quietly walks to Violet's bedroom checks on her one last time seeing that she is deep asleep he shuffles off to his own bedroom goes in quietly changing into his own pjamas before collapsing onto the bed not bothering with the duvet as he is exhausted; mentally and physically exhausted from the work and from dealing with Springtrap aka William Afton after laying on the bed Henry falls into a deep restful sleep the best sleep he has had in a long time but in the back of his mind that nightmare lingers, threatening to jump back out at him at any given moment.
                                                      William is sitting slumped against the basement wall of the mega plex, the walls dripping with water, the pipes rusted as it would seem they have been there for years, a musty smell lingering in the air from the old tables and the old stages that sat in the basement William could also see the woodworm rotting the wood on the planks of the front of the stage he couldn't be sure about the planks on the stage as he couldn't see them from where he sat as well as the old stools that sits around the stages that was in almost perfect view the felt on the top of the stools was also fraying and falling apart, as William sits there he starts to formulate another plan, a plan to reunite his family in a big way he would bring them here to the mega plex and put his family back together his son Michael who is in a coma, Evan his oldest son who left and ran away after an argument, his daughter Elizabeth who got scooped by Baby, his wife Mrs Afton who either left or ended her own life to which William still was unsure and more importantly himself he looks at the suit that he is trapped in and starts to free himself from the springlocks the seering pain agonising him every time he tries to free himself from the springlocks but he is determined, determined to be free and make his family whole once more.
