Me and Dom met on highschool. We were friends from 10thbgrad and up.
"Sup chick " Dom asked as we sat waiting for graduation practice.
"Jus thinkin" I said as he put his arm around me. Were not together but we're good friends.
"Bout what" he asked he popped a piece of candy in his mouth as I got ready with my news
"I got in to UNC" I said lowly
He looked and engulfed me in a hug. I smiled I thought he would be mad as hell.
We had said if we didn't get into college we would get an apartment together. But I got the letter yesterday that I got into UNC with a full scholarship.
"I thought ud be mad" I said as he pulled back
"Why would I be mad my best fuckin friend got into he dream school.
"I'm gunna miss u" I said as I hugged him tighter.
"And I'm gunna miss u . Well keep in contact don't worry.
I just smiled as we were called in to practice.
2 days later we walked across the stage and Dom found me after. I was standing with my parents as he engulfed me
"We did it" he said as we let go.
"U goin to monties tonite?" He asked over the loud crowd
I nodded as he said "I'll come get u well go together" I nodded and hugged him as my parents took me out for a celebration dinner.
7 pm came and Dom pulled up. I ran down in my maxi dress and ssandles
