This whole time Avery had been fighting the urge to put her hand through his beautiful hair. She loved his hair. It was kinda short, brown, and wavy. Avery couldn't stop admiring him.

"Oh look, there they are!" She says, pointing to Chris and Nick walking out of the store. Matt looks up and sees them approaching the car, his heart speeds up as he starts to feel nervous again. Matt looks back at Avery and his eyes land on her soft pink lips. However Avery doesn't notice, she rushes to go help Chris.

Matt watches as Avery and Chris walk off to help unpack the groceries. He gets out of the car breathing in the air, he brushes through his hair and looks over at Avery and Chris.

MATT

God, she's so beautiful...

NARRATOR

"Thanks." Chris says to Avery.

"Are we cool?" Avery asks Chris.

"No we're not fucking cool."

Chris slams the trunk and gets in the car. Nick looks at Avery, confused why Chris was so mad.

Matt starts to drive home. The four of them talk about nonsense the whole ride. Matt loved hearing Avery talk. He takes his eyes off of the road for a second and looks in the rearview mirror. He watches as Avery laughs at something Nick says, he can't help but grin as he sees her laugh.

"So..Nick, how are you and Kevin?" Avery smirks, Chris and Matt were having their own dumb conversation.

Nick turns red, "We're good..why??"

"No reason!"

Nick rolls his eyes, "I don't like him!!"

Avery laughs," Yeah okay.."

Matt listens to the conversation happening in the backseat, he can't stop himself from glancing at Avery. Her smile is so contagious that it makes her heart flutter every time.

MATT

I'm falling for her. I'm falling hard.
