Matt sits next to Avery as they all play truth or dare. They all look like they're having fun, Matt too, though, he keeps looking at Avery whenever he can and she's beginning to notice
"Truth or dare Matt?" Olivia asks, snapping him out of his thoughts as he looks up.
He looks over at Avery who is giving him a look, he turns back to Olivia, "Uh...truth."
"Who's your...crush?" Olivia asks. Liv slightly smirks at Avery as she asks.
Avery looks at Matt, no facial expression showing. Matt did only what he thought was right. He lied of course. "This one girl that works at panera. You know, the one I told you guys about before."
"No way she's real bro," Chris says, covering his eyes and laughing. Everyone starts laughing but Avery keeps staring at Matt. Avery rubs her eyes, how can I be jealous over a panera worker? She couldn't help but feel a bit hurt after everything Matt had said to her.
Matt watches the group laugh. Fucking idiots.
For some reason, Matt's mouth opens "So um Avery! Truth or dare?"
Everyone quiets down, shocked Matt was asking Avery, "Dare.." Avery says, a bit confused.
Matt doesn't need any time to think about it, "I dare you, to kiss me on the lips."
"What happened to panera girl?!" Chris says.
"Chris shut the fuck up!" Nick says, hitting him.
Everyone's jaw drops, shocked Matt actually asked that.
"Okay." She replied and went in and kissed Matt. It was a quick kiss, nothing crazy. When Avery pulled away she wished she could kiss him for longer.
Matt's heart starts to pound and he begins to blush. Did that really just happen? He's completely speechless and a huge grin appears on his face.
Avery smiled as well, she didn't want that kiss to end. She looks over to Matt, who still looks completely shell-shocked, "You okay Matt?" She whispers.
Matt nods, still not being able to find the words, "Yeah, I'm good." He replies. His heart is racing and he's still grinning.
Nate breaks whatever the fuck is going on, "O-kay, I'm gonna go get a popsicle, who's coming with me?" Everyone but Matt and Avery gets up and goes to the garage to get popsicles out of the freezer.
Matt and Avery sit in silence for a few moments. As Avery was about to get up and get a popsicle too, Matt grabbed her arm and their lips pressed together.
