-Logans POV-
I just woke up to the alerting sound of my obnoxiously loud alarm clock. The sound made me jump right up from my bed, almost causing me to fall off. I checked the time. 6:30 AM. Today is the day for the first day of my last year of high school. What makes it worse? It's at a whole new school. I always had problems with school. Grades, bullies, fake friends, fake relationships, fake people. There isn't a single thing about school I like. I'm a bit anti-social as well. Making friends is hard for me.
I managed to get out of bed 5 minutes later and got dressed quickly and brushed though my short dark brown hair. I walked down stairs to my kitchen to see my twin sister, Candace, and my mom eating breakfast. I went over to the counter to make myself a bowl of cereal.
"Excited for your first day Logan?" my mom asked me with excitement in her voice.
"Are you kidding? He's going to totally screw up." Candace laughed at my mom's question.
"Of course I am" I lied giving my sister a death stare. I knew today would be complete hell. I sat down next to my mom and ate as fast as I could. I wasn't in the mood to talk. By the time I was done it was 7:00 AM and I had to catch the bus, which leaves at 7:10.
I left my sister behind and ran to the bus stop. By the time I got on the bus, it was already there. I took the first seat on the bus avoiding any eye contact with anyone. I had a feeling today wasn't going to turn out well.
-Selena's POV-
I sat in the back of the bus with my friends Ashley, Vanessa, and Rachel. We were yelling and screaming about how much fun this year would be. While they were talking a noticed a boy I never seen before get onto the bus at the first seat. I had to admit, he was pretty hot, he must of been in 9th grade or something. What really caught by attention was his deep blue eyes. They were gorgeous.
When we got to school I went straight to my first class. Turns out I had a lot of friends in my class, including Vanessa, Ashley, and Rachel. I sat on top of the desk talking to them when I saw someone familiar at the corner of my eye. That kid on the bus. He's in 12th grade? I wonder why I never seen him before.
"What the hell are you looking at Sel?" Laughed Vanessa.
"Oooo looks like Selly's got a crush on that nerd boy over there" Rachel laughed referring to the kid.
"Ew no!" I scoffed. "I'd be caught dead screwing with him" I laughed nervously causing the other 3 to laugh as well.
"Might as well have some fun with this nerd." Ashley suggested causing us to follow her surrounding the kid.
"What's your name?" Vanessa asked the kid.
"Logan." He replied softly.
"Logan? What a gay name!" Rachel said aloud causing him to give us a small frown.
"Help us out here!" Vanessa whispered to me.
I bent down next to him and took the notebook out of his hand that hes been holding.
"What'cha got here?" I smirked opening the pages.
He got up and towered over me, not aware of how tall he really was and took the notebook out of my hand picking up his stuff and moving seats.
What the hell was his problem? This kid must got some deep secrets. I felt a little bad for being rude to him but my friends did it, so I guess it was cool if I did too. I was about to follow him but the bell rang for math, first period, before I could.
The teacher set up a seating chart. I ended up sitting next to Logan. Next to him. Side by side. Partners. This made me feel even worse. Vanessa and Ashley were behind me along with Rachel in front of me. And I can tell you, they messed with that poor kid all period while our math teacher explained his class.
They called him names, kicked his legs, pulled his hair, and got away with all of it. Of course I wasn't going to stop it. Logan could suck it up, it wasn't my problem.
Once first period was over Vanessa followed me to my next class, social studies, which we had together.
"What's your problem Sel?" She asked me rudly.
"What do you mean?"
"That Logan kid! He's the perfect target! He's in all our classes too! Help us mess with him, or you're out."
"Out?"
"Of the group."
"What group?" I asked sounding a bit stupid.
"Me, you, Ashley, Rachel? Gosh you're so stupid."
I nodded once. Vanessa had always been bossy, this behavior didn't really phase me. I agreed to it and went on with the rest of my morning.
-Logan's POV-
It was finally lunch time. Thank god. I was being torchured by these 4 girls all day. Sad part is, I didn't even catch what there names were.
I got in line to see I was right behind Candace.
"Hey Candace." I said to her.
She glared at me.
"Can I sit with you today?" I asked nicely hoping for a positive reply.
"Logan, I'm popular, you're a loser. That wouldnt work." She turned the other way completely blowing me off and leaving off to a table with a bunch of stuck up jerks, including those 4 girls.
I went to a table to the back, and of course, ate lunch by myself. It wasn't long before those same 4 girls came over here. The one with dark brown hair, brown eyes, she was probably the prettiest. What am I saying..they're all horrible.
She sat next to me and put her arm around me grabing my soda.
"Aww, sitting at lunch alone?" She said sarcastically before the poured the soda onto my head, leaving her friends to laugh hysterically.
I threw her arm off me, grabing my stuff and running into the bathroom. One thing I hated about me. I was really sensitive. I stayed in there for the rest of the 45 minute lunch period on the ground writing in my journal.
