Once I got home I lay on my bed and heard my phone vibrate. It was a text from Selena, saying “hey(:.” I was too lazy to reply, but I felt bad leaving her hanging.

“Hey, sorry I had to leave so early.” Even though it was midnight.

“It’s alright, we got everyone out. Anyways, do you want to come to a party with us all tomorrow?” she asked me.

“Sure, where at?”

“This club, I forget the name, pick ya up tomorrow at 7. Night x”

“Sounds good. Night.”

After I sent my last message to her I instantly fell asleep.

I woke up on a nice Saturday morning. I didn’t have anything to do all day, so I spent my time reading books from my dad’s book shelf.

-Selena’s POV-

I spent the whole day with Vanessa, Ashley, and Rachel. We went out to go get outfits for the party. This wasn’t just any party, it was a clubbing party.  Having Vanessa pick me out an outfit, didn’t make it the most important. But you have to live young and free right?

“So what have you and Logan been up too?” Vanessa asked me.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“You aren’t fooling anyone Sel! We saw you take Logan up to your bedroom! What did you do to him?” She laughed.

“We made out, and stuff.” I felt a bit uncomfortable.

“Good, now tonight you need to take it further. Make sure he falls in love with you.”

I nodded my head agreeing.  My only problem was, I think the only one falling in love here, was me.

I got home and took the outfit out of the bag that Vanessa bought for me. I couldn’t even explain to you how racy it looked, so I’d rather not explain it. I sat down at my desk and thought about Logan. I couldn’t be falling in love with him. This is all just a game. I don’t really love him and I doubt he loves me. But we did have that kiss, and oh, he’s an amazing kisser. His lips though. What am I saying? Thoughts about Logan swirled in my head confusing me. No. I do NOT love Logan.  He’s a loser and that’s all he will ever be. And a cutie. Okay, So done.

By the time I was done thinking it was already 6:00. I got dressed and straightened my hair, applying makeup. I grabbed my phone and got ready by 7. I got in the car with Vanessa, Ashley, and Rachel and drove to Logan’s house.

-Logans POV-

I heard a knock on the door. Selena and her obnoxious friends were here. I opened the door to see her beautiful…interesting self. Her outfit was, yeah, interesting. Anyways, she took my hand and intertwined it with mine. It may sound cheesy, but our hands fit perfectly. She leaded me to the car and sat in the back with me.

We got to the club. It was filled with lights, inappropriate dancing and people, beer, and loud music. So loud I could hardly hear myself think.  It made me feel sick just being here.

When I was just about to sit down Selena dragged me into the center of the club and made me dance to her. Of course I was the only one who didn’t know the song but I went along with it anyways. Selena was even drinking beer, she offered me some, but I refused, I hated the taste. However refusing to accept the drink didn’t stop her for begging me too. Finally I gave in and held my nose drinking it.

The club was getting too much for me to handle. I couldn’t even fake enjoying myself. Everyone was stripping, screaming, it was too much. I finally made my way outside the club. I sat on a bench outside and looked up at the stars. I could still hear the loud music coming from the club, but I blocked it out of my mind and stared up at the sky.

About 10 minutes later Selena came out, looking confused.

“Why are you out here?” she asked me still looking confused.

“Not in the mood.” I replied softly.

“You’re not used to this are you, Logan?”

I shook my head once, looking at her.

“Well, then I guess I’ll just have to stay out here with you, as boring as it is.”

“The stars are pretty.” I admitted.

She smiled and took my hand walking down the street from the club. I didn’t know where we were going but I didn’t bother to ask. As long as she wasn’t planning to rape me,  I was good. We got up to a tall hotel building with a ladder on the side. She started climbing it. As terrifyingly dangerous it looked, I was eager to see what was up there, so I followed behind her.

I wasn’t sure how long it took me to get up there, but it felt like forever. My hands felt numb and my feet were sore.  Selena had my sit at the edge of the building, the height was far down.

“Look up.” She said.

I looked up a bit confused, then I saw a sky full of beautiful stars.

“I thought there weren’t many stars in the city?”

“Depends where you’re at.”

The sky was flawless. There were stars scattered everywhere. Selena even showed me some constellations.

 “Logan.”

“Yeah?”

“I love you. I wanted to say it, so I said it. But I don’t expect anything. Believe me, I been in the same position when someone told me they loved me completely out of the blue, and I was completely thrown. So, don’t worry, you don’t have to say anything. In fact, you don’t have to say anything at all.” Her words felt like they meant more than they should have for me.  Instead of saying anything I leaned in closer to her, cupped her face with my hands and kissed her gently on the lips.

“If this is what love feels like, I don’t think I ever been so in love with anyone before.” In this moment, I knew what love was. I honestly never felt this way before.

She wrapped her arms around me and started kissing me again, biting gently on my lower lip. She was perfect at everything she did, even if it was just kissing. Our “make out session” lasted about another 10 minutes.

-Selena’s POV-

We both climbed down from the building, taking us a while. He walked me all the way home as well. The walk was silent, but it didn’t matter. We obviously both felt something. The thing is, every word I said to him was true, and from my heart. I didn’t want to play him anymore, but I couldn’t tell Vanessa any of my real feelings. My feelings developed over him quickly, but I couldn’t help it.

We got to my door and he kissed me again, leaning his self closer and closer until there was no more space in between us. When he finally let go he stuttered words.

“S-so, do you maybe wanna, h-hang out tomorrow?”

“Of course, you can come over to my house, or I can come to yours.”

“I’ll come to yours.”

“Sounds like a deal.”
