-Logans POV-
I want to be a writer one day. I have nothing interesting to write about, so basically, I just write about my life, then again, that isn't very interesting. Before my aunt died, she always told me I should be a writer, so that's exactly what I want to do. Right now I was writing about how crappy my day was.
-Selena's POV-
We were all laughing, although I still felt some guilt. I went back to our table when Vanessa grabed my hand.
"You wanna really mess with him?" Vanessa asked.
"What do you mean?" I replied a bit nervously.
"You know the girls ask guys dance this Friday?"
"Yeah, of course."
"Ask Logan, lead him on, then break his fragile heart." She laughed.
"Oh-okay." I stuttered unsure.
"Unless you're scared."
"Psh no! I'll do it!" I replied I bit more confidently. "When do I ask him?"
"Now, good luck!" She skipped away over to the table leaving me with this.
Where would he be? I wandered the halls and saw him at his locker putting that notebook in there. Lunch was almost over so I had to make a "move" fast.
"Heyyyy umm....." I forgot his name already, how?
"Logan" He replied rolling his eyes.
"Logan. Yeah, I knew that. Anyways, I'm Selena."
He looked at me.
"And...I wanted to know if you wanted to go to the girls ask guys dance with me?" I asked with a fake smile on my face.
"You and me?"
"Yeah, I'm so sorry for what I did to you...I panicked. I just got nervous around my friends. I understand if you don't forgive me, but I really do like you." I lied.
"I don't know. Dances aren't really my thing."
"Come on it would be fun!" I nudged his arm lightly.
"I guess." He sounded really unsure of himself.
"Then after, it's a party back at my place." I fake smiled.
"Alright. Sounds cool." He replied as if he couldnt be any less interested.
"Once again, I'm really sorry. It won't happen again" I apologied still managing to smile.
"It's alright. So when is it?"
"Friday, tomorrow night at 8. Vanessa, Ashley, and Rachel and I will pick you up, okay? Oh and they're sorry too."
"Got ya." He wrote down his number on a peice of paper and handed it to me finally giving me a smile.
"See you then I guess."
"Yeah."
The bell finally rang for 7th period.
-Logan's POV-
I had gym 7th period unfortunately. I got into the locker room and changed, still thinking about what just happened.
Selena, that was her name. I had to admit, she was really beautiful. Ever feature about her was perfect. Her hair was long and curly, her brown eyes sparkled, her complection was flawless, heck. Everything about her was flawless. Even her name is beautiful. And she really is sorry. And she really likes me. I couldnt help but smiling just thinking about her. I think I was actually excited about Friday night.
I found out I had just about ALL my classes with her, and her friends too, except 8th period. That was study hall, but we sit on opposite sides of the room.
I sat in the front seats on the bus ride home and started writing in my journal. To my surprise Selena sat right down next to me.
"What'cha writin' about? she laughed looking over my shoulder.
I slammed my book shut realizing I had just been writing about her. "It's nothing."
She took the book and looked at the cover which had my name written on it. "What's this, some kind of diary?" she asked me.
"It's uh, a journal."
"How long have you had it?" The book obviously looked older considering the pages had ripped corners.
"Since 7th grade."
"You had this since 7th grade?" she sounded a bit confused.
"Well it's a large journal."
"What do you write about?"
"My life, basically, I guess."
"Can I read it?"
"No."
"Well, why not?"
"It's a bit personal." I was getting a bit annoyed with her constant questions.
She nodded slowly and moved her seat to the back. I have to admit I felt a bit offended. I opened back to the page I was on and continued writing about every detail of my long day. So much has happened, and I was a bit curious for what more would happen.
-Selena's POV-
"Did you lead the little loser on?" Asked Vanessa.
"Yeah, we're picking him up Friday night, now tell me exactly what I'll be doing."
"Take him to the dance, show him a fun time, give him love, show him love, then leave him to be broken." she laughed.
"Sounds a bit...harsh."
"So? Man up Selena. If you don't do this, once again, you are out."
I nodded and sighed, it can't end up THAT bad.
