It's been almost twelve years since the incident.
The doctor had come in after our little chat and told me that the nerves and ligaments in my right arm were almost completely destroyed. It was amputated and about a year or so I was given a robotic arm instead.
Learning how to use the prosthetic took almost two years in itself. But now I'm fully functional.
Me and Journee went to the same college. She studied medicine and chemistry like her father did.
While I went in for more of a basic medical field.
We graduated a couple years after and gotten amazing jobs.
I was a nurse and my girlfriend was a pharmacist just like how her father was.
Speaking of parents. My mother and Journee's father retired happily and comfily.
Another benefit is that the shapeshifting ability has allowed me to change a different part of my body.
That was an interesting event in the bedroom. 🤭
Even though we were supposed to get married before children, that didn't happen.
Journee got pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful little girl.
Her name is Alyx Jazmin Welsh.
I love my family and I couldn't be happier than I am now.
We also moved not to far from my home town. Just on the outskirts of Charlotte.
We bought a nice house and we're living lavishly.
Now my daughter, Alyx is starting middle school. I'm nervous but I must understand that it's important and she'll be safe.
