in the eighteenth chapter, when Clare is held hostage and then Suzie tranquilizes Emmaline, when she falls to the ground, Clare suddenly regains her powers of coherent speech, even though it is repeatedly mentioned prior to that moment that she was ball gagged...
I honestly apologize for that. I was rushing to meet the deadline I had set for myself, and so made that mistake. I hope you can overlook it 😅.
I'll probably have to edit this book soon anyway, so it will be altered then.
