TAYLORS POV

It is the morning after the second show in Melbourne and I am sitting on a couch in my dressing room doing some Tay lurking like I always do after shows. My mom walks in and sits across the room on an identical couch looking through her phone.

"How was the show?" she asks looking up at me, "Great it was so much fun like it always is, that girl that you picked to get the 22 hat was so cute as well she was bawling her eyes out, she was so happy to be there, you definitely picked the right person." I say standing up remembering that the girl had given me a little bag that I had put in my pocket and I had forgotten to look at it after the show.

"Thanks, I thought she was a great fit she knew all the words to literally every single song you played it was really impressive she was also dancing around the VIP tent like no one was watching it was so cute, and she was so excited to be there she was bawling her eyes out the whole time because she was so happy after she got the hat she told me that it was the best thing that's ever happened to her" I listen to every word mom says and I turn around and aww when she tells me what the girl said.I get the little bag she had given me and walk back over to the couch to open it, "Aww she sounds so cute, what was her name?"

"It was Madi, Shes only 13 as well," Madi that's a nice name, I think back to what she looked like she was quite tall I thought she would have had to been at least 15. "Only 13 I thought she would have been at least 15." I start to open the little bag she gave me looks like there's a bracelet and a piece of paper.

'What's that?" Mom asks looking over at me, "Madi gave it to me," I pull out a friendship bracelet with LOVE U TO THE MOON AND SATURN on it in big bold letters and I hold it up to show mom. I slip the bracelet onto my wrist and look back into the bag where I see a folded up note I pull it out and unfold it.

I read the letter out loud to mom.

Dear Taylor

First of all, if you're reading this, I'm so honored to have been picked to get the 22 hat and meet you because I would say I'm one of your biggest fans but all of your fans probably say that so you can be the judge of that. I saved up all my money so that I could get tickets to your concert and somehow, I did and I'm sooo grateful I did I've been dreaming about this concert for almost a year. And I got so lucky with tickets I'm somehow going 3 times and all of the tickets are phenomenal and somehow all VIP. I love you and your music so much your such and inspiration and the best role model I could have dreamed of you inspire me every day to work hard to achieve my dreams and not let people push me around and say I can't. You are the music industry and I love you so so much and hope that one day I can meet you in person and have an actual conversation with you.

"Aww, that's so sweet," Mom says looking over at me I smile down at the letter, "Yeah it is, isn't it," I say reading over the letter again.

"Can I talk to you about some things Madi said last night?" mom says giving me a serious look so I know it must be something important, "Yeah definitely," if it has anything to do with one of my fans, I want to know I put the note back in the bag and put it to the side giving all of my attention to my mom.

"I'm just going to tell you everything I'm thinking first, and you can tell me what you think afterwards ok?" I nod and she continues.

Mom tells me everything about how Madi ran into her and told her about her school situation and about her parents and my heart broke thinking about how much this is clearly weighing on her. Mom stops suddenly at the end like she has more to say but is anxious to tell me.
