Me and My Girls

After the other night with Alex, everything changed. I haven't talked to him in 3 days. I invited Braden and Destinee over for a slumber party, because we haven't been as close lately. I got everything ready, ice cream, pillows, and seasons 1-4 of Teen Wolf and seasons 1-7 of The Vampire Diaries. Just like always!

I haven't opened my curtains since the kiss. Alex and I avoid each other in the halls. Well, I avoid him in the halls. He tries to talk to me but I don't really listen. I am still in shock that he had the nerve to kiss me. I can't say I didn't like it, though. Why, well because I don't like to lie. I'm not going to deny it anymore. He can't be in love with me, right? Why would he want me? It's not like he's getting any action from me. I mean, I have more pride than that. I am taken out of my thought bubble by the door being rapidly knocked on. I smile to myself and hurry downstairs.

" Hiiii" They sing.

" Girls" I exclaim.

" I'm so excited that you invited us over, you've been so distant lately" Destinee says.

" Yeah, what's up girlfriend" Braden asks.

" Nothing really" I say.

" Tell us" Destinee insists.

" You have to keep this secret though" I make the promise.

" Yes, obviously" They agree.

" Also, Destinee, please don't get mad" I beg. She looks at me suspiciously. I take a deep breath.

" Okay, spill" Braden insturcts,

" I told you about my fake date with Alex, right" They nod and motion for me to keep going. " Well, he was really nice and different. He swept me up and took me outside so the city was in front of us and, he kissed me."

" Oh my God, your kidding right" Destinee laughs.

" No, I'm dead serious" I laugh along.

" He is trying to play you" Destinee exclaims.

" Yeah, I guess" I smile.

" That is so... stupid. I mean, he's not going to get to you. Your heart is like made of stone" Braden joins.

" Thanks" I say sarcastically.

" Well, your heart is like unbreakable. Remember what happened with Roy and Lana" She reminds me.

" Yeah, so. He was a douche, he cheated and then moved away" I state.

" You weren't even phased" Braden exclaims.

" Well, things might be different with Alex" Destinee taunts.

" What do you mean" Braden asks.

" Remember how upset she was when Bailey came into town" Destinee asks.

" Okay people, her name was Bailey April and my name is Brooklyn May. I mean, come on. He set that up so he could make me jealous" I defend.

" It worked" Braden remarks.

" Hey, no it didn't. I am the same person I was when I was with Roy, unbreakable" I assure.

" People change, B" Destinee reminds.

" I know, I changed a little but I'm stronger than ever" I promise.

" Okay, but when you're broken to pieces-" Destinee starts.

" We will still love you" Braden finishes.

" Anyway, we have 7 seasons of TVD to watch" I change the topic.

" Right, let's watch" Destinee laughs.

After 5 episodes of TVD, we decided to go upstairs and hang out. We talk and tease each other. They take another jab at my Alex weakness, so I lift a pillow and throw it as hard as I can. Destinee ducks and the pillow sends Braden flying off the bed. I laugh as another song comes on. Young Blood by Bea Miller comes on. We all belt out the lyrics and laugh at each other. We break out into a full blown pillow fight, until we notice 5 pairs of eyes watching us through the window. Alex, Derek, Dylan, Tyler, and Scott.

" Get out of here" I scold.

" We're not in there, but we would love it if you'd invite us in" Tyler smirks.

" Yeah, no" Braden smiles.

" Come on" Derek begs.

" No way" Destinee says.

" Nice bra, Braden" Dylan smirks.

" I know" She says, not phased at all.

" Let me handle this boys" Alex jumps in. Shit. " Hey Brooke"

" Go away" I growl.

" Uh, no. Come on Brookey baby, let us in" He pouts.

" Uh, no" I mock.

" Mocking me, huh. Now this" He says, acting as if it hurt. I scoff at his child like actions.

" Well, see you at school" I smile sweetly.

" Wait, we have to keep planning our graduation party. How about tomorrow at lunch" Alex suggests.

" Alex, please don't make me do this" I beg.

" Come on Brookey, we'll have fun" He persuades.

" For the last time, don't call me 'Brookey', it's really annoying" I snap.

" Okay, Brookey baby. Graduation party, tomorrow at lunch" With that, he slams his window closed. I slam my window closed and groan in frustration.

" You did not tell us about a graduation party with Alex" Destinee says.

" Yeah, I don't recall that coming up" Braden says.

" I didn't think it was actually going to happen and I was really hoping it wouldn't. Alaina and my mom think its a great idea so I guess I'm stuck doing it" I groan.

" I have an idea" Destinee says.

" What" I ask.

" Yeah what" Braden tags along.

" What if we all had the graduation party together. Like all of us and all the guys. We can get them in on it and we can all do it together. That should rattle him a little" Destinee suggests.

" That's a great idea, see this is why we need you" I laugh.

" So true. So tomorrow we all meet for lunch. Alex didn't say where though" Braden asks.

" It's this spot behind the school, it's a small hill and you can see the city lights. He said that it's the spot where he always goes when he wants some peace and where he can meet with people" I inform.

" Perfect plan" Braden says.

" I know we are geniuses" Destinee says as she flops down on the bed. We laugh at her.

We hurry back downstairs and continue to watch TVD as we stuff our faces with ice cream and chocolate. Tomorrow should be fun...
