My phone went off, my screen illuminating my dimly lit room. I snapped my eyes open, directing my gaze towards my phone.

The electronic device kept going off, the device being bombarded with tons of notifications. I grumbled in annoyance before reluctantly picking my phone up.

The armed detective agency? I've heard about them quite a few times and I was well acquaintanced with Kenji. Kenji would always pop in the cafe I worked at, always at it with the desserts of the cafe.

Kenji had decided to spark up conversations with me first and how could I resist such an adorable child? Even so, we talked quite a bit and I think we could consider ourselves friends now, although I wouldn't be too sure.

I shut off my phone, my room going back to its previous darkness. I placed my phone back on my bedside cabinet and closed my eyes once more. I needed my beauty sleep, AKA sleep that I haven't had for the past two days. Sleep is for the weak fr.

Eventually though, I drifted off into the internal darkness of sleep. (Hopefully I dont wake up)
