The air outside was sweeter than Juliet recalled, but being locked up in an old, sealed vault did that to one's senses. Perhaps that was the reason for Juliet's mindlessness in the observance of her surroundings and her continuance of following the enchanting faeries into a forest she didn't remember ever existing.
Hesitation crept into Juliet's being, memories of how she deceived her family worried her mind. Her feet, seemingly no longer entranced by the faeries languid movements, paused prepared to turn back and follow through with the plan. All the was left to do was to find Romeo and live happily until she could return to Verona and explain to her family.
The faeries, seeing that Juliet halted, returned to the girl's side and affectionately stroked her hair with their small fingers. They floated around Juliet's head and whispered sweet nothings to her.
"Come with us, we'll have great fun together," they beckoned with smooth smiles and soft voices, " Come and we'll find your beloved Romeo. With the help of our queen he can find him. He resides just beyond this forest waiting for you"
At this Juliet's interest was piqued, "Truly? You speak true?" Juliet asked with hopeful eyes.
" Of course my dear why ever would we lie to you?"assured one twinkling faery .
" Yes, Faeries can not lie -we are not capable of such a thing -it is both a blessing and a curse," said the other.
With renewed confidence and hope Juliet followed her guides anew to find her love.
