it was june of 2008, it was your third year of high school, and you had a student exchange in a few days, you went to tokyo earlier, to met up with shoko, your best friend, who you cherished dearly, since you thought you guys had something in common.
"ahhh shoko, its your last year of high school, isn't it ?" you said as you fell onto a chair.
"yeah, im excited to get the morgue to myself", she says while smoking a cigarette.
"shoko in her usual image" you chuckle
"HEY, stop saying that, im a nice person, you know" she smiles
"of course you are, im just nervous about this years student exchange program, thank god gojo wont be there" you sigh as you get up and come closer to the operating table shoko was standing against.
"ahhh dont worry, you'll be the strongest there. without gojo you have a chance to win" she said finishing off her cigarette, and throwing it away.
"you think ? im not that strong" you said in a confused tone.
"dont worry. she said "you still have time to become stronger"
you guys continued working and talking until somebody entered the room. there were two people there. the aura was very familiar to you.
no way you said to yourself, you knew who one of them was. someone whose been your mind these past two years. the person you couldnt be together with. your stomach felt heavy, your head felt dizzy, you stressed yourself out too much.
why am i nervous to see him again ?? you thought to yourself while calming down. you decided to not look in his direction and look away.
"hey shoko !" he said while waving at her with a smile on his face.
"hi !" said another male but more seriously.
"you guys are done faster than i expected, did you guys find anything ?" shoko asked putting her mask down.
"not really, nanami and i just wanted to see how you've been doing. and as i can see you have a friend with you" he said looking at you.
shoko looked at you and realised why you didn't look at gojo, and tried to make an excuse, as fast as possible.
"please, ummmm, dont come to her, shes not doing great" her smile was fake, but you can see that she tried her best to help you.
"ahhh, okay" said gojo.
"we will just go away, be safe" he waves and puts his hand on nanamis shoulder, teasing him for no reason.
"phewwww" you said as you relaxed your body.
you knew you are safe for now, but what will happen next time...???
