these past few days, you were sitting next to a window. the rain mixed with the emotions you were feeling, you just watched as the raindrops were racing down the window. you were like in sync with the weather. it started raining out of nowhere, as soon as you felt being alone, even thought you weren't alone, but you just felt perhaps lonely...?
you decided to go to the coffee shop under your hotel building.
the games between the school are starting tomorrow, you didn't seem excited, or scared.
you just felt empty.
you opened the cafe door sighing as you saw that there were quite a few people... you wanted to talk to your friend who was a barista, alone..
"hello !" you said waving at your friend slightly.
she was in her own little world, whipping the floor with a mop while humming a beat of a song.
you chuckled.
"keizie!" you said clapping your hands to catch her attention.
she finally heard you clap, and turned around, before slightly jumping back, since you came out of nowhere ....
"OMG Y/N !!!!! DONT SCARE ME LIKE THAT !!!" she said putting her headphones off with her right hand while putting the other hand on her chest trying to catch her breathe.
"typically you !" you sighed taking a seat.
"you're always in your own little world !"
she blushes from embarrassment as she saw people staring at her.
"uhhhh....? did i scream ?" she said quietly.
you smiled.
"you were so loud, people might think i was trying to kill you" you chuckled
she sighed before putting her mob in the storage room before coming back to you and sitting at the seat across from you.
"you're shift is over ?" you asked glancing at her.
"my shift finishes in 5 minutes !" she said putting her head on the table from pure exhaustion.
"five minutes would be enough to make (your favorite drink)" you said giving her $5 bill, while smirking.
"you bitch-" she paused taking your money before getting up and making the drink.
you just smiled at her. you didn't feel this happy for a long time.
you and keizie dont meet often, only if you come to tokyo once in awhile. you were happy in tokyo.... but your clan wont approve you being this far away.... so you had no choice but to stay in kyoto.
she came back with the drink, putting it on the table before looking at you with her arms crossed.
"explain why you look this awful ?" she said as she watched you take a sip of (your favourite drink)
"nothing" you answered, trying to avoid direct eye contact with her.
she sighed in frustration.
"you know you can talk to me, right?" she said narrowing her eyes. something is clearly wrong with you.
"oh cmon, keizie ! i'm totally okay ! school is just too hard" you lied, perhaps you didn't want the attention on you, or perhaps you just didn't want her to worry.
she sighed before leaning closer to the table.
"you're a great person !" she said as she smiled.
"you never tell me these kind of things" you said taking another sip of the drink
"you make me seem heartless !"
"maybe because you are ...?" you said finishing the drink.
"you're the worst !" she said jokingly.
"you said the opposite a few minutes ago !" you said smirking at her.
"opinions changeeeeeeee....." she said whining
"then you change your opinion about everything every two seconds? can't understand how takeomi is still with you !!" you said teasing her.
she turned slightly red from your words.
"HEY ! i'm not that bad !" she said crossing her arms again looking a bit red.
you just chuckled.
"thanks for the drink !! you're such a good barista !!" you jokingly winked at her before getting up, and throwing the paper cup into the trash.
"you wont stay longer?" she said at you with a sad expression.
"i'm sorry, i have to go ! we will catch up tomorrow, okay ?"
"fineeee !" she frowned.
as you left the cafe, it was still raining. but you didn't care, you loved the rain it calmed you down.
you headed to your hotel before taking a shower, and preparing yourself for the first day of school exchange programme.
you couldn't sleep for a while....
you had this feeling that something will go wrong tomorrow...
