Flashes started to flood under my eyelids and I was brought up to one of the many Hogwarts hallways. What I saw on the other side of the corridor, I was not ready at all. My breath quickened and my heart started to race abnormally when I watched as Dahlia Hagen turned a corner with a wooden stake in her hands. Tears streamed down my face when I quietly muttered "No no no, this is not happening right now. Dad and Mom assured me that I will be safe here at Hogwarts", I ran through long hallways trying to find dungeons. It seemed like a maze that I can not escape. Soon I noticed the familiar door that leads to Slytherin's common room, but someone conceived the way. It was Mattheo Riddle "Y/n, what is going on? Are you alright, dear?" he started to question me. Only one person on Earth calls me like that and then Mattheo's face turned into Dahlia's one "Are you alright, dear?" she repeated, I just stood with pure horror in my eyes. "Now, two choices for you, my dear. Either way, you come with me or you die right here, right now. What are you choosing?", "Please, do not," I managed to stammer, after what I said, she was fast to stab a stake in my chest with vervain powder on its tip, so I would die in more agonizing death. I tried my best to reach into my pocket which held Dad's blood vial, but my vision got blurred and everything went black.

I woke up screaming and suffocating. I struggled to open my room door with shaky hands, and when I finally did, I bumped into someone. "Y/n, was that your screams?" I thought that this voice belongs to Mathias, so I hugged him "Hey hey hey, talk to me. What is wrong? Remember, we are friends now and we promised to come to each other if something bothers us," I quickly let go of that person and saw that it was Mattheo. "It is alright, tell me", "A nightmare that I do not wish even to an enemy. Do you think it is okay if we go for a walk until I feel like going to sleep again?" I asked him with pleading eyes "Yes, of course".

We sat down in one of the courtyards, Mattheo took my still-shaky hands in his and started "Calm down, darling, take deep breaths, okay? Everything is fine now," I felt better after those reassuring words "Do you want to talk about it?" he continued "Another day, alright?", "Sure".

If not for my agony, it could be such a beautiful night. The sky was so peaceful, the moon and stars glimmered through some light clouds. I started to yawn and felt dizzy again, so I questioned Mattheo "Perhaps, you can tell what time it is?", "It is the second time we meet at midnight," he said smiling "I am sorry that you had to sacrifice your sleep. We can go back", "I could not fall asleep anyways".

When we went through our common room Mattheo offered me "You can stay in my room if you do not want to be there by yourself", "If that is okay with you," he hummed in response. Our rooms were pretty much identical and it was kinda scary. Similar taste I guess. "You can sleep in my bed and I will stay on the floor", "Maybe I can join you on the bed if that is good with you, of course? Or I could sleep on the floor, it is rude to take your bed and leave you on the ground you know," I said and we chuckled. Mattheo laid down and patted the free spot next to him "Come on then". "Sleep well this time, Y/n Hope", "Sweet dreams, Mattheo," and with that, we fell asleep.
