CHAPTER 13

As the both brothers reached his kingdom, the people in the kingdom gathered to welcome their kings. Many held respect for their kings as they helped the commoners not being like other rulers . In spite of the fear creeping in their life due to recent events they found their hope returning.

They believed their kings can solve the problem and bring back the peace again. Little kids ran around , looking at their king in astonishment. The kids awed at their kings, They looked up to him listening his bravery in the war , in ruling etc..

The wind blew , birds chipper , whispers of the kings return were known to be the talk of the town. The day were pretty normal for the people except the talk of their kings return. Even though the kings looked stoic , cold but they knew their kings would never cause any harm to them.

The people in the kingdom believed that , due to the return of the kings they believe they would get the peaceful life they had before. The Alphas of various packs were happy to know that the king has returned home.

People in night slept peacefully, this time because of the faith they would wake up alive rather than being awake in a middle of the night due to the attacks of the demons.

CECILIA POV

I grabbed my sis hand as she chanted the spell to travel to the his kingdom. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath . I suddenly felt like being carried away by the wind. This experience was new to me since I never travelled with her like this.

I opened my eyes as I felt being landed. I looked at my surrounding , trees that looks strong/healthy is sturdy and robust. Its trunk is thick and its branches are sturdy.

It has healthy leaves and is perhaps a safe haven or home for different species of animals. This tells us the tree has a long life ahead of it, and even that it's able to withstand a lot of damage. The scenery looked so magnificent, so peaceful .

I looked at my sister crysty having the same expression as me except the deep furrow on her face and looking quite tensed about something . "What the matter sis , why do you look so tensed right now ?" I asked . Before she could answer everything surrounding us went black, like what we saw just now was just an illusion. I sensed something was wrong, the place looked so calm just before a storm.

A low whispers filled my ears , little by little the voice gradually became louder. I clutched my ears to block the noise. I looked at my sister, she tried to do something to block the voices but failed as blood seeped out of her noise because of the sudden casting of spells.

I narrowed my eyes , to scan my surroundings to find the person who is behind this whispers. I felt my vision again going black. "Let me out Lia !" I left something overpowering me by making my vision completely go black. The last thing I remember is the trees,the sudden black scenery, my sister looking troubled due to something. I just couldn't do anything , unable to protest against the unknown I gave up!

CRYSTALLINE POV: ( sorry for the sudden change of PoV)

I was chanting a spell to break this illusion spell , I looked at my sis struggling with the whispers of someone who is casting this spell. I know the person is near us , I was trying so hard to break this spell . I just couldn't chant the spell for too long as I felt myself so drowsy due to lack of my power.

Since I used too much of my powers travelling to the kingdom but getting caught in this spell. I felt blood seeping out of my nose, I found my sisters horrified look, I was still chanting the spell. I used my full strength to break the spell, i could feel the spell breaking but not completely.
