My journey so far

I followed the night, while hoping for the sun to rise,
I smiled at the clouds, while maintaining my foot on the ground,
I disowned the flow of river, while enjoying every drop of shimmer,
You say I am not there yet, and I say its true,
But what false is what you think of me in you,
I might have not reached the sore of my desire,
But where I did reach was the lakes of hopes where I set my camp-fire,

These roads were broken when I decided to walk on them,
Those rocks were bigger when I decided to walk through them,
These grass was thicker when I decided to walk on them,
Everyone was meaner when I decided to walk pass them,

Now I stand here where noone is there,
A place so deserted that even water will disappear,
But this makes me sad,
This makes me think, was the journey so far was worth it?
or should I head back?
I have to keep walking forward without knowing where will I land,
It can be a endless walk of me with hopes,
or it can just end tomorrow,
So should I head back?
