Chapter Two: A Recipe For Love.

Tails sat between Amy and Shadow on the couch, crossing his arms and closing his eyes, listening to Amy's explanation of everything that had happened.

Amy was speaking in a low voice explaining to Tails everything that had happened, while taking glimpse at Shadow, the more she caught a glimpse of him the more her face got red.

Shadow was lying on the couch with his arms stretched out on the couch, closed his eyes, listening to Amy's words without showing the slightest reaction to her.

Amy looked down and said, while her face was red.

"That is why he needs to kiss me, so that the poison from the fake emerald's energy will not take the best of me."

Tails hummed, then opened his eyes and looked at Shadow with a sneer mixed with anger and asked.

"Then why didn't you lick my wound as well?"

Shadow looked at him with the corner of his left eye in a horrifying manner and said in a gruff voice.

"Fox, it seems you would like to die sooner than you expect."

Tails shivered with fear at Shadow's horrifying gaze.

Amy shouted angrily.

"Shadow!"

Shadow sighed, closed his eyes, raised his head, and said in a normal voice.

"What is in you is shrapnel, and it does not spread poison, it only tires the body. You are also a fox, and foxes do not have a high sensitivity to the energy of chaos."

Tails raised his head to the ceiling and nodded approvingly, then looked at Amy and said gently.

"Does that mean he didn't force you to do anything?"

Amy's face turned red again and she looked at Shadow with wide eyes and said.

"No! No! He can't force me to do anything. If he did, I can hit him with my hammer!"

Shadow laughed for a moment and quickly suppressed his laughter.

Tails looked at him grimly, then looked back at Amy and asked.

"Do you know what happened after the battle in Center Square?"

Amy stared at him in astonishment.

"Actually, I wanted to ask you because I lost my memories of today."

"Ha? Even you? I don't remember more than that Sonic was chasing Shadow in the center square and we were fighting robots and then suddenly Sonic disappeared and I didn't see him anymore and so were Shadow and you. Knuckles was running up the hill, so of course I ran after him hoping he was after Sonic and that's where my memories stop... I think you did indeed ask Shadow if he might talk, but he probably refused... Anyway I don't remember anything until a few moments I woke up on some kitchen table with my stomach tied in gauze, then got up from the table and moved slowly to the door to see you on this guy's lap as you two finished a kiss."
