The Big Day pt. 1

(Wedding Day)

Today's the big day! I am so nervous and happy at the same time. I'm looking forward to seeing my soon to be husband at the end of that isle, it feels like forever since I last seen him, but it really has only been 2 days. Adrien and James took him away for a few days to do "boy stuff" as they called it. Macie was here with me though and we had quite a blast last night if I do say so myself. We went out for a few drinks and to dinner to celebrate today along with Carter and I's future together. Right now I am getting myself ready to go to breakfast with Macie before heading to the venue to make sure everything is in place and start getting ready. I texted Carter already saying.. "Hey, just wanted you to know I love you and I look forward to later on." No response back yet but he's probably resting up or something. James texted asking if I was ready for today, I replied back with a "duh". Hes walking me down the isle to Carter and handing me over since I don't have a father figure aside from him. I know that today I will have another audience than just the ones in those seats at the venue. Lucy, my mom, dad, and my grandparents will be looking upon us as well and I hope I have made them proud in my choices and decisions I have had to make in the past few years as well as the ones I am making today.

Well Macie is ready to go so I suppose it's time to get a move on before she has my head on a silver platter for being late to everything today. We are going to breakfast and then to the venue so she can make sure everything is going smoothly in being set up. Then I have an appointment to get my hair and makeup done and then my nails. After that then it's time to head to the venue and get into our dresses and put the final touches on, and then the ceremony itself. In officially a few short hours I will be Jaylyn Alexis Acura. I have been so excited for this day since the day he proposed to me. Without Macie though I would have been a train wreck in this whole wedding ordeal, with all the organizing that it takes and making everything's perfect and set to your vision that you had.

~10 minutes later~

We decided on starbucks for breakfast since it's quick and easy. I got a cinnamon muffin and a mocha cookie crumble drink, and Mace got a muffin and a french vanilla cappacuino. We sat and chatted about today and the schedule and whatever else we thought to talk about then we left. Next up getting our nails done. I'm getting mine done in a light purple type color and Macies is gonna be the same.

So we are all finally back at the venue and starting to get ready for the ceremony now. I already have my hair, makeup and nails done. Now all thats left is jewelry and my gorgeous dress up next. I don't have much more patience to wait on seeing Carter, but he's with Adrien and James getting ready himself. Oh Carters sister Ally and his cousin Natalie flew in about a week ago and we have gotten along really well for just meeting. They are some stunning girls I know that much. ~half hour later~

Its finally time for the ceremony to begin. According to Macie everyone is already down waiting, and that Carter looks like he's gonna cry. James is on his way up to walk me down and give me away. I wish so many other people could be here with us today, but I know that they are looking down upon us today and smiling from their front row seats up there. Welp it's time, James is up here and we are all lined up ready to go. In a few minutes I will no longer be Jaylyn Alexis Knight, I'll be officially Jaylyn Alexis Acura and to know that I'll be loved for the rest of my life by my best guy friend makes me smile like I won the lottery. Its more than I've dreamed, and could ever ask for from someone like him and I wouldn't have it any other way. The doors have opened and I can see Carter, I want to just let James go and run to him and get it over with already. He finally has realized that it's happening due to a nudge from Adrien. He looked up and I guess it was safe to say that I stunned him? He didn't blink for a second and when he came back to reality I was almost to him by then and he started tearing up. James handed me off to him and said " I know you'll take care of her." and went to take his seat in the first row. Carter couldn't speak hardly but that was fine since the preacher was speaking right now. We had told him before hand what we wanted him to say which is my favorite quote from my favorite movie "A Walk To Remember". "Love is Patient and kind. It is never jealous, love is never boastful or concieted. It's never rude or selfish. Love never gives up, never loses faith. Is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance, love will last forever.

After his part of the ceremony it was our turns to do our vows we had came up with ourselves. He went first. Then I went, and then it was time for our rings to make it almost official. (A/N- I don't feel like putting the vows in lol). The preacher then announced us husband and wife and he kissed me like it was the first time he's ever gotten to do that.
