13- Just Like That

JUST LIKE THAT

Christmas is getting nearer and nearer, It's November 5th today. We still have a month and 20 days left until Christmas.

It's really exciting, the adults planned a little something for us. They said it's a suprise and that Ms.Shim is the one who came up with the idea, of course the adults will enjoy themselves without us too, they'll take a break from their stressful kids, I guess.

Out of all of us Yoo Jenny is obviously the most excited one. Even Joo Seokhoon seems like looking forward to the said event.

"I already have some plans on the upcoming Christmas break but I guess I'll cancel it. My mom's idea is always good anyway. Are you excited, Rona-ya?" Joo Seokkyung with her arms cross on her chest proudly, walking beside me as she smile genuinely.

One thing I had notice is that she really loves to talk about her mother, every chance she got she'll always open her mouth and talk so highly of her mother. When her mom's name name was mentioned her eyes will shine so brightly.

Ms.Shim is the example of a elegant woman who can be an angel in disguise, possibly hiding something dark beneath her cover. I have not yet proven what I had in mind, but time will answer my question in mind.

I was just in my favorite coffee shop that time, studying and enjoying my smoothie when I saw Ms.Shim entering the shop with shades.

I got curious because why would she be wearing an expensive shades? I thought of it and maybe she saw hiding her face but then I push the idea on the back of my mind, why would she be?

Then, when she sat down and ordered her drink she's still wearing her shades, and then a few moments a handsome, american man came inside and sat across her.

Isn't that suspicious? Anyway, I didn't meant to but I heard some part of their conversation because I'm quite close to them.

It's not part of my plan to listen to her conversation with people I don't know, but yeah I got out of the coffee shop before they can even talk about something tense, because well, ny mom taught me not to do that. It feels so wrong, that's why.

I'm not gonna stuck my noses in her business, it's none of my business anyway, and respect for her. I'm just quite curious, I think she has an idea what's happening to my mom.

Yes, mom is irritating me but it's worrying also. What had she'd been doing these past few weeks?

"Rona?" A nudge made me realize I was letting my thoughts smallow me again, seriously, I said I will not let it overcome me but here I am.

"Are you okay? You look like someone poured you water while sleeping." Minhyuk joked as he turned to walk the other side beside me also.

"You don't look well. Are you sick?" Joo Seokhoon ask with concern written all over his eyes, he didn't have to tell me anyway, I can see it through his eyes.

I didn't even notice him get closer to me, maybe because I was too distracted.

"I'm fine, just stressed, really." I responded as I look at them and thanked them for their concern, oh how I love having them as my emotional support, kinda.

"Stressed!? Ugh, how I hate stressing about the exams!" Yoo Jenny added, as she pouted like a kid.

"Do you really? I don't even see you reviewing even a bit." Eun Myungisuel interrupted, her eyebrows raising as she walk beside Joo Seokhoon with a blank face, the man beside her is also wearing the same boring face.

They're evenly matched. How irritating.

Joo Seokkyung rolled her eyes, just like everytime she sees her, as if she's having an eyesore everytime she sees her, which I think is not far from the truth.
