Ch. 2 - "Bridges Burned, All Across the Board."

Recap:
After coming up with a few wishes, (F/N) can now enter and leave from Jujutsu Kaisen and heal others by touching them. After some thinking, she decides to enter the Hidden Inventory arc to prevent Fushiguro Toji's death. She decides to enter the beginning of season 2, episode 2 in hopes of convincing him to let her tag along his mission. After trying to convince him, he denies, causing her to leave then enter the same scene again in frustration. Turns out, Fushiguro remembers their previous encounter. after pressuring (F/N) to spill all of her not-so-secret abilities, she hopes that he'll finally agree. He still denies her.

I closed my eyes. Again, back in my room. I sat at my desk, frustration visual on my face.

Knock knock. "(F/N)? I made breakfast if you want." My mother stuck her head out from behind the door, "Hm? Something wrong?" She questioned as she walked in the room, towards me, leaving the door open.

"Oh uh, it's nothing. Still a little frustrated that my graduation is on Monday. I'll eat breakfast with you now." I got up from my chair after writing something in my Wish Note.

"Alright, I already set up your plate on the table." After thanking her, she left the room. I checked the time, almost choking when I saw 8:04 AM.

'That entire interaction took more than two hours? God.'

Genie, who was chilling in my bag the entire time, knocked out, finally exited the bag with a yawn as I walked out to eat.

After helping with the dishes, I entered my room, immediately spotting the genie that caused so much change to happen in such short time. I closed the door softly, sitting back onto my desk chair with all the contents of my bag all over the desk.

I felt myself regretting my decisions, but I was too stubborn to change my mind now that the idea is there. I stared at the notebook filled with written wishes, pouting at it with frustration. Another one has made it to the list to prevent the previous mistake from happening.

"Entering after leaving Jujutsu kaisen chronologically backwards resets every character's memories. If I go forward in time, it will be treated as a time skip and I will be remembered. Any changes not overwritten by going back will create digital manga pages in my phone as a way to save progress."

With a sigh, I close the notebook and pack everything back into my bag. I remove the headphones, knowing I won't use it again. Genie decides to hide itself in the bag before I zip it up again.

I huff, "okay, let's do this. Again."

TAKE 3

Ah yes, "You're talking like I'm unemployed."

I felt relief flutter inside me after seeing that Fushiguro wasn't looking for me with the goal to interrogate and intimidate.

'Honestly, now that I've talked to him more, I'm not scared anymore,' I smiled fondly as he Interacted with Kong. In a way, I felt a little attached to him after that encounter. My smile dropped immediately after. 'However, now that he doesn't remember, there's nothing indicating that we had any relations.'

Watching Kong walk away, I immediately start approaching Fushiguro, proud of myself for not feeling anxious. 'Fushiguro doesn't like beating around the bush, so I'll save some time for both of us.'
