Recap: Panda enters the scene! (F/N) takes this as a cue to leave battle with Toji, but Geto doesn't allow that. With her cursed energy depleting quickly, she fights until she can't, and ultimately blacks out. (F/N) gains consciousness once again, the fight was over and night was slowly consuming the sky. After witnessing Rika's departure and dismissing the students, Gojo confronts (F/N) about Toji. All ends in failure, because now, (F/N) is back at the meeting right before the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons. Instead of involving herself with Geto, she takes a different route. This time, she will be aiding Shoko.

Light from my window filled my vision when I woke up, groaning as I got up to stretch.

'I didn't oversleep as much. I need to go shopping for food.' I went to the bathroom to freshen up, heading back to my room quickly after.

I got into my battle uniform, this time putting pants on so what happened last time wouldn't happen. I fixed my hair yet again, getting my bag and other essentials before exiting my room. I decided to go to Toji's room, checking whether he's still asleep.

I opened the door, peaking my head through, "hey, are you asle-" I coughed, shutting my eyes closed immediately.

"SORRY!" I slammed the door shut after I brought my head back out, turning my back towards it. I accidentally walked in on him changing, and I felt my soul leave me at that very moment. Yes, his bare back may have been facing me, but that doesn't make it any better.

I stuttered as I spoke, redness taking over my cheeks, "I'm going shopping for food! I'll be back!" I yelled as I walked to the entrance, putting my shoes on and rushing out the door.

Slam!

'Why the fuck does something like this always happen? It's always him, too. Ugh, but it wasn't his fault for once, so I can't blame him like always. The one time I don't knock, too.'

I felt like I needed to bleach my eyes as I walked to the stores, the image was burnt into my brain. I slapped my face from both sides at the same time, not helping the redness, causing people passing by to look at me like I was crazy.

I had a determined look as I entered the cold store, still flustered as I was getting a basket to carry all that I needed.

_______

I was in the snack aisle, my basket already full of food essentials for home. I was focused on whether I should get candy or go to a bakery until I heard my phone ringing. I dug for my phone, checking the caller.

"Shoko? What does she want?" I mumbled to myself as I pressed the answer button.

"Hey, (L/N)?"

"Yes, Shoko? Y'need something?"

"Yes, actually. I'll need you to come to my location around 2 PM. I'll send you the address before. Healers like us will be in demand, so I'll need all the help I can get to prepare."

"Alright, of course. I'm happy I get to finally work with you, Shoko. I've always admired you."

I heard her laugh, "you're a sweet talker, huh? I'm excited to work with you, too. Oh, I gotta go now. I'll see you."

"See you later," I hung up after with a smile on my face. Shoko always seemed like a sweet girl, even back then. Sucks that Gojo doesn't appreciate her as much as he should. I decided I was done shopping and left the snack aisle to go pay.
