Ch. 14 - "あなたで満ちれば 後悔は無いよ"

Recap: Sorcerers gathered into a meeting, planning to stop Geto Suguru from bringing harm to common civilians. (F/N) has other plans, however. Instead of being in Shinjuku or Kyoto, she convinces the others that it'll be best to reserve one special grade sorcerer in the school. Now successful, (F/N) and Toji make their way to Jujutsu High before the sun sets to avoid early interaction with Geto. Geto then encounters Toji, who he could've sworn was dead, and promises to put him back where he belongs. The plan to keep the students from grave injuries slowly fails, and everything is falling into place as it does in the movie.

Maki's blood was spilled on the ground, her body unnervingly still. "Fucking curse user," I mumbled under my breath, a glare directed at Geto.

Panda breaks through the wall closest to Geto with a grunt, causing debris, stone, and dust flying about in the air.

The sound of my voice came from my weapon form, "Toji, fall back. The students can take it from here."

"Y'sure?"

"Positive," my image came from the reflection of the sword, serious and undeterred.

"Hope you don't regret it, then," Toji snuck away from the battle, but stopped to swing my blade at a curse launched at us from behind. It split in half, the purple blood now on my blade and Toji's face, disappearing not a second later.

"Don't think I forgot you two," I heard the grin on Geto's face as he continued dodging Panda's advances as best as he could.

"Shit, I need Yuta to hurry up. Toji, give me your phone," I transformed back into my regular body, Toji's grip on my wrist loosening as he felt my form change. His free hand fishing in his pockets as I kept killing the curses that made their way to us in small clusters.

"Here," the moment Toji presented his phone, I snatched it with a small thanks uttered his way.

My thoughts were running rampant as I typed in Yuta's number from Toji's phone, kicking away any curses as I did so. 'I know that Yuta comes here regardless, but seriously? I just want this shit over with ASAP. I'm getting exhausted from imbuing cursed energy into my blades over and over. Maybe I should include a shit ton of cursed energy in my Wish Note...'

I felt a vein appear on my forehead as I clenched the phone. "Fuck!" A curse headed towards me, getting launched to the other side of the area from my kick, "The veil cut off my service!"

"Yuta!" I grunted, hoping he could hear my frustration as I kicked another curse away, "get your ass here as soon as possible!"

I started running in Panda's direction when I saw Geto nearing Maki's weapon. I felt my legs shake from exhaustion due to using so much of my cursed energy, but I pushed through, ignoring it.

'Fuck, don't give up on me now, legs!'

Toji followed after me, complaining about how I shouldn't run into battle with his phone. I bought it for him in the first place, so I don't see how it would be a problem.

"Panda! Be careful," I grunted when I caught the weapon thrown at Panda, but it still stabbed him. Didn't seem to pierce all the way through like it originally did, however.

"(F/N), get down!" My knees gave out the moment Panda warned me, letting a small yelp as I collided into the ground.

"Plummet!" Inumaki directed his speech at Geto, giving us but a moment of rest. I was panting, using my shaky arm to support myself as I held the phone.
