    She's been gone such a long time! I think to myself, trying to stay optomistic. We planned to have a movie night in my girlfriend: Gwen's room. We had everything set up, and then her stolen police wakie talkie went off. Another super villain. This seems to happen entirely too often. I think our city has a crime problem.

    Gwen, being Ghost Spider, reluctantly had gone off to fight said villain. "It won't take too long, i'll be back in a few!" That was 40 minutes ago. And there's only so long you can stare at the title page of Sonic 2 (lowkey my comfort movie). Needless to say, I was bored. As i continued to lay on her bed, some dark thoughts managed to creep in: She's been gone so long that the villain might've just killed her. You're gonna hear it any minute; "Vigilante known as Ghost Spider' found dead!" I tried so hard to shake the thought from my head, then I heard the window of her family's apperment open.

    Sooner than I could think, I'm face to face with an exsusted looking Gwen. She didn't look like she had any major injuries, just really tired. "Sorry for taking so long, sweetheart. I really didn't expect it to take that long! On top of that, one of my webshooters got busted, so I had to walk back." Once my brain had prossesed what happened, I jumped up and pulled her into a hug. "Seems like you missed me." Gwen wraps her arms around me and lets us stay like that for a little bit.

    After Gwen changed back into her pajamas that she'd been in before, the two of us finally started to watch the movie we'd planned to. Seeing her so tired and beat up after a tough fight, I couldn't help but cuddle into her side. "Awww! Tails is so f-ing cute!" Gwen exclaimed to me. I was too focused on my thoughts to respond. Noticing this, she paused the movie.

   "You've been so quiet since I got back. Is everything ok, sweetheart?" She asked. I thought for a couple of seconds and finally responed: "It's nothing... I was just worried about you when you took so long. I thought something might've happened to you." Hearing this, she rubs my back in an attement to comfort me.
    "I'm so sorry I made you worry. It was hard, wasn't it?" I can only nod. "I just want to let you know that I'm never going to just leave my girlfriend hangin'! No matter how bad things get, I promise I'll come back for you, ok?" She pressed a kiss to my forehead. "I love you, y/n."

    "I love you too, Gwen. Thanks for that, I really needed that, actually." I lean in to kiss her cheek in return. "So adoreable..." I mumble out subcontusly, and I feel her squeeze me a little bit in return.
    The two of us spent the night cuddling together, laughing at the movie. Before we knew it, the movie was over, and I ended up spending the night at her appertment.
