(A/n: This does take place in 1939 as per his back story, just to clarify. I also tried to make it as historically as accurate as possible given my mediocre knowledge.)

Cold. That's all I could think as I awoke in my fiancé and I's shared bed. In the background, I could hear the crackling of our radio playing softly. Looking out at the window revealed the snow-covered rooftops of New York. I let out an audible sigh and bury myself deeper into the warm linens on the bed.
Rolling over brought me face to face with my love: Peter Parker. He looked half awake as well. His curly, brown hair is still messy from sleep. He had on a gray stripped button-down shirt that was wrinkled from my carelessness. He had glasses, but he'd taken them off whilst he slept. "Morning, Honey," Peter said in his transatlantic accent. I returned his greeting with a soft smile.
"Come here, Honey." Peter mumbled out, reaching out and pulling me close. "I'm sorry, I had to come home so late last night. My client had me fighting goons until 10 yesterday. But I'm just glad to be here with you." I'd known about his role of New York's Spider man for about a year, so this wasn't unexpected.
He pressed a kiss to my forehead and then rested his head on mine. "It's so cold..." I commented to him. Peter, never being a big talker, just nodded. "We really need to get a warmer blanket." I joked. And he let out an airy chuckle.

Neither one of us wanted to start the day ahead of us, but inevitably, I did have to get up. The frigid air seemed to shock me as I stood in the titled kitchen. After starting the fire in the stove, and began to take the jam out of the ice box. I made sure that the bread I'd bought the day before was still good before buttering the pan. Peter came into the kitchen a few minutes later.
At the same time, I had heated up the water to make him some coffee. As well as some coffee/tea/hot chocolate for me. After plating both of our meals, I came and sat with him on the couch. He occasionally insisted on holding me before he went to work for the day, something about "seeing some messed up things in at work." (he DID see some fricked up things 0-0)
As well as not being a big talker, he also wasn't very visual about his emotions. Peter had made that very clear. Although I'd reassured him that I didn't mind comforting him, he never took me up on the offer.
I felt myself get goosebumps as his fingers grazed my upper arm, keeping me pressed against his side. It was nice being able to see the softer side of him, the side that he kept hidden away at work for his own sanity. Compared to the Spiderman that patrolled the city, this Peter was almost like a puppy. "Is everything ok, Honey?" He asked, noticing that I'd accidentally been staring at him.
My face gets a scarlet tint as I realize that he has noticed me. "Uh... nothing, Honey, just lost in thought." I look away in embarrassment. He chuckles yet again. "You never cease to amuse me, my love." Peter made eye contact with me, and for a second, I thought I saw his eyes light up through his round glasses, a little smile on his face.
"You know, I can't wait until I can marry you. Then I'll have you all to myself until we die."

(A/n: His back story is messed up, dude. I'm not even going to get into it here. Anyway, sorry for the updates slowing down, I'm trying to get better ideas. And Peni Parker is in the works, I just need to get a good storyline. Ok, have an amazing day/night lovelies byeeeee)
