Gabi's POV

It was a really cold and really loud night in New York. The reason that it was super noisy in recent weeks is because a man the news called SuperFly had been terrorizing the city of New York. I could care less about that because all I care about right now is fixing my car.

Because I accidentally got into an accident and I wanted to fix it myself and pay less money. My mom had to pay a fee because I wasn't allowed to drive yet but I didn't listen. My step brother Steve is 17 and now has to drive me everywhere. It's really annoying because we always go to the places he wants to go to, while I just tag along. I was 5 and he was 7 when my mom and his dad got married but we grew really close and it doesn't feel like we are step siblings. And my step dad is amazing to me and my mom.

My best friend April is still trying to get me to help her find out who SuperFly is and what his plan is. But I didn't have time for that, not until my car was fixed. Ever since April threw up on live to our whole school, she hasn't had any friends other than me. I had no one else but her now because all of my friends dropped me because I decided to be friends with April. I didn't need them anyway because I love April. We've known eachother since we were 10 years old.

I spent a week fixing the outside of my red jeep but now I had to fix the engine and air conditioning. Like I said it was a VERY bad accident but somehow I only had a mild concussion.
"Mmmmm okay so this goes here....and this connects to this..." My hands were all dirty from fixing the engine for hours on hours. Small sparks were coming out of the wires as I was trying to reattach them all. I heard the garage door open behind me. My mom and stepdad went to a banquet for their work while I was home alone with Steve. "What's up?" I asked not even taking my eyes off my car engine. "Listen my friend invited me to a movie night and uh I was wondering if you wanted to go because mom and dad said none of us should be home alone since this whole "SuperFly" thing is happening near us." My brother explained.

I stopped what I was doing and used my arm to wipe the sweat from my forehead. "Just leave me home alone, none of your friends like me anyways." I rolled my eyes as I pushed my curly brown out of my face and continued to work. "What if something happens- I mean I don't want anything to happen to you while you are alone." Steve sounded concerned. "I mean you got into a car accident a few weeks ago and it was pretty bad-" He sounded even more concerned. "Please it wasn't even that bad Steve, besides the movies you guys see are kinda boring. I'm picky with the romance movies I watch." I shrugged. My brother didn't know what to say. I could feel that he was nervous to leave me alone. "Promise me we will get sushi after the movie-" I sighed harshly as I finally turned to him. "YES! I promise. My treat." He gave me a thumbs up. I nodded and gave him a smile as he ran out of the garage. "YOU HAVE AN HOUR TO GET READY!" I heard him shout. I quickly cleaned my work station up.

I then went to the bathroom and washed my arms off and face. I put some makeup on. Like mascara and lipgloss. I then went to my room and had to pick an outfit.

I put on my avengers shirt with some blue jeans, I put some small earrings on, put socks and white converse on and then I put a blue sweater on. I just let down my hair and combed it out and I was ready to go. Steve and I locked up the house and then we were off. Steve is a good driver but I miss driving so much because I felt so free. When we got to the outdoor movie place. I was hesitant to get out but I just decided to pull the bandaid off. Everyone teases April for puking in front of the whole school while I get made fun of for still hanging out with her. But I'd rather have a friend for life than a bunch of fake friends that would drop you at the littlest inconvenience. We walked up to the park. I was shyly walking behind my brother. "Sup Steve!" A bunch of his friends walked up to him and high-fived him. Then they all turned to me and I was really embarrassed. "EWWW she's friends with April O'puke!" They pointed and laughed at me. I already was annoyed so I walked off and I heard my brother call out to me but I ignored it and just sat in the back against the building. I was just on my phone. I was texting April and scrolling on tiktok.

I wasn't paying attention to the movie. I just had my airpods in and tiktok. That's all I needed. "Mmmmm should I buy this Ironman poster or the Spiderman poster." I tapped my chin. "Both." I added them to my amazon cart. I was just on a shopping spree when I felt someone fall on my head. "Huh..?" I was really annoyed because my hair takes forever to do. I shook my head and saw a piece of pizza fall next to me.

Did pizza just fall down from the heavens?

Leo's POV

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!?" I panicked. We were all freaking out. "The pizza just SLIPPED out of my hand-" Mikey was in pure shock and horror. "I say we just leave it." Raph was unsure. "Oh dudes- the girl we dropped the pizza on likes the Avengers.... We have to apologize-" Donnie was looking down. We all glanced down and saw her shirt. She had pretty brown hair and it was curly. "We need to apologize-" I whisper yelled. "Wait, maybe she'll forget." Raph shrugged. I just rolled my eyes.

She was looking around on the floor. "Please don't look up." Mikey was praying. Donnie had his fingers crossed. She finally looked up and we finally saw what she looked like. My eyes went wide at the sight of her. She was absolutely gorgeous. It was like time stopped as I gazed at her. The beautiful girl has curly brown hair, had beautiful facial features and she had gorgeous light brown eyes. "Oooooooo Leo likes her." Raph teased. "Wait what-" I snapped out of it. "He has no rizz." Mikey and Donnie laughed at me. "No no no stop this!" I finally have had enough. "Well looks like she doesn't care-" Raph was cut off by the girl below. "Who the heck did this-" She looked really annoyed but she didn't see us because it was night time and we were hidden by the shadows.

I felt really bad for her and the more and more I looked at the girl I was realizing how beautiful she was. "Leo don't" Raph shook me to snap me out of my thoughts. "I AM THE OLDEST AND I DECIDE WHAT WE DO!" I yelled with my hands on my hips. "Here we go." Donnie sighed. "This isn't going to end well-" Mikey rubbed his face. "WE ARE VERY SORRY! YOU ARE VERY PRETTY BY THE WAY!" I shouted. I immediately felt embarrassed and covered my mouth. All my brothers started laughing at me.

Gabi's POV

"WE ARE VERY SORRY! YOU ARE VERY PRETTY BY THE WAY!" I heard someone shout from above. I squinted my eyes but I couldn't make out who was up there. "You're forgiven I guess!" I shouted but I was really unsure because a mysterious boy said I was pretty and apologized. I sighed and looked at all the couples hugging each other and being happy.

"The media says I don't need a partner to be happy but..... I really want a boyfriend because I think I need someone who can relate to me on another level and that could love me like that and besides.... I want to love someone like that... but when will it happen." I quietly mumbled to myself as I put my hands in my pocket and walked back to Steve's car and just sat on the roof and waited till the movie was done, While I was on my phone I felt like someone was watching me but I saw no one around so I just called April until I went home.
