Hi, I'm Y/N Y/LN. A strong-willed and independent woman. Unlike most people, I don't believe in love. I had never believe in the concept of it. I always viewed it as a mere illusion, that love was nothing more than a myth, a fairy tale that people desperately clung to and created to deceive the hearts of the foolish.

I had seen the world around me crumble under the weight of failed relationships, broken hearts, disappointment, and had developed a cynical view of relationships. And, I simply couldn't understand why people kept chasing this elusive feeling called love.

I am known for being logical and practical woman who firmly believe that love was just a figment of people's imagination. I believe that love was just an illusion created by society and that true happiness could be found in solitude.

My best friend, Wanda, on the other hand, was a hopeless romantic. Wanda believed in the power of love, tirelessly searching for her Prince Charming. Always searching for that elusive soulmate.

She viewed the world through rose-colored glasses.

Wanda would often spend hours daydreaming about meeting her soulmate and experiencing a love story that would transcend time and space. I found her fascination with love both endearing and slightly perplexing, but it never affected our close friendship.

Wanda and I had been friends since childhood. Our friendship was built on trust, laughter, and shared secrets. We understood each other like no one else could. Despite our contrasting views on love, we shared an unbreakable bond. We are inseparable and shared everything with each other.

It was a sunny afternoon when Wanda asked me to go for a walk in the park. As we strolled along, enjoying the crisp air and the vibrant colors of autumn, Wanda couldn't help but gush about her latest crush.

Ew.

Wanda excitedly whispered, "Y/N/N, I have just met the most amazing person, and I think he might be the one." Her eyes filled with excitement, face beaming with joy.

I rolled my eyes playfully, pretending to be unimpressed. "Really, Wan? How many 'ones' have you met now?" I teased, "You say that about every guy you meet. How can you possibly think there's someone out there for you?" I added.

She sighed, her expression filled with determination. "Because I believe in the power of love, Y/N. Maybe you just haven't experienced it yet, but I truly believe that one day you'll find someone who will change your mind."

I can't help but chuckle, brushing off her optimism, "Yeah, right. I highly doubt that'll ever happen. Love is just a series of chemical reactions in the brain. It's all biological, nothing more."

Wanda shook her head, her eyes shimmering with a hint of sadness, "You might think so, but love is so much more than that. It can change lives, make ordinary moments feel magical, and fill every corner of your heart. Y/N, you've never given it a chance. Love can be a beautiful thing. You just haven't found the right person yet. Just trust me on this."

I rolled my eyes at her, "You know I don't believe in all this love nonsense." I smirked, "Tell me, what makes this person so special?"

"His name is Vision, and he is absolutely perfect. He's kind, genuine, and charming. He listens to my every word, as if I'm the most important person in the world. I can't stop thinking about him!" Wanda's cheeks flushed with a rosy blush as she spoke before continuing to add some more.

Something was different this time. As she spoke about this mysterious new person, I couldn't help but notice a spark in her eyes I hadn't seen before. Wanda's laughter was genuine, her smile was wider, and her voice was filled with an indescribable joy. I felt a newfound curiosity about this person who had managed to awaken a dormant emotion in my love-crazed best friend.
