*The next day*
*16:03PM*
Remus is sitting in the living room while Lily and Harry are taking a nap. There is a knock at the door. Remus places his book down after putting a book mark on the page.
He stands up and walks to the door. He opens it seeing the minister of magic and what he assumes is some people who work for him
Remus: minister, what can i help you with?
Minister: earlier today there was a mass murder of 12 muggles, also the murder of Peter Petigrew.
Remus: what? who did this?
Minister: Sirius Black. He was seen laughing at the scene and has been arrested and taken to azkaban. all that was left of Mr Petigrew was a singular finger.
Remus: first Lily and James, now Peter.
Minister: we know this is hard for you, we offer our condolances.
They walk away. Remus slowly shuts the door. He has lost all of his friends within 2 days. First Voldermort killed Lily and James, then Sirius kills Peter and gets sent to azkaban.
At least he still has Lily and Harry.
