Raised By A Werewolf

Chapter 4

*Diagon Alley*
Remus, Harry and Lily are all in Diagon Alley. Hagrid has agreed to help Remus in getting Harry and Lily's things.

Hagrid: i have to rake Harry to Gringots, i'll bring him to The Leaky Cauldren when we have all his things.

Remus: ok Hagrid, see you then

The 4 split up. Remus and Lily walk into the wand shop called Olivanders. They walk to the front desk where Olivander comes up to them.

Olivander: i wondered when i'd see you Miss Lupin

Lily: how did you know my name?

Olivander: i know everyone's names who will be coming to see me at some point. i believe i have the perfect wand for you

He goes to a back part of the shop and comes back holding a box. He opens it handing the wand to Lily.

Oivander: 10¼", Willow, swishy with Unicorn hair core.

Remus: just like Lily's

He smiles. Lily swishes her wand and a breeze comes through the shop. A light comes from the tip of the want causing Lily and Remus to smile.

*A few hours later*

Remus, Lily, Harry and Hagrid are all in The Leaky Cauldron. Lily and Harry are showing each other their new pets.

Harry: Hagrid got me this owl, i named her Hedwid

Lily: i wanted a cat instead, i named her Pebbles.

Harry: Pebbles?

Lily: yeah, i think it's a good name

Pebbles climbs onto Lily's shoulder. Lily strokes behind her ear.

*September 1st 1991*
Lily and Harry are sitting in a compartment alone just talking when they're interupted.

Ron: excuse me, do you mind. everywhere else is full.

Lily+Harry: not at all

The boy walks in and sits down.

Ron: i'm Ron by the way, Ron Weasley

Lily: i'm Lily, Lily Lupin

Harry: and i'm Harry, Harry Potter

Ron: bloody hell, is it true?

Harry: is what true?

Ron: do you really have the

Harry: have what?

Ron leans closer and whispers.

Ron: the scar?

Lily+Harry: ohhhh

He lifts his hair a bit revealing the scar

Ron: wicked

Lily shakes her head and rolls her eyes before pulling a walk man oit of her bag. she puts the headphones part on her head and presses play on the tape. It's a Queen tape.

She leans on the window and listens to the music while Harry and Ron are talking. The next thing she knew the seats were covered in sweets.

She pauses her music and takes her headohones off. She looks at all the sweets.

Lily: where did all this come from?

Harry: just brought it all from the trolley

Lily: where did you get the money for all this?

Harry: Hagrid took me to my vault, it was loaded with money my parents left me

Lily: wow

She grabed a couple chocolate frogs and a couple of Pumpkin Pasties. She listens to her music again for a while until a girl ooens the comoartment door.

Hermione: has anyone seen a toad, a boy named neveile has lost one

Ron: no

He says with a bit of sas and annoyance on his voice. Lily rolls her eyes then plays her music again. She eats the things she got from Harry and Ron's stash. She ignores everything until they get to the platform.

*At sorting*
Lily is standing in a crowd of students in a giant hall. Students are being sorted. Lily learned the name of the girl who came in the compartment, her name being Hermione Granger.

Minerva: Lily Lupin!

Lily walks through the crowd and sits on the stool. An old hat is placed on her head. It starts to speak.

Sorting Hat: Ah a lupin. don't see many of you. you are a lot like your father, but also like your mother.

Lily's face turns sad.

Sorting Hat: you never knew her, did you?

Lily speaks quietly and softly.

Lily: no

Sorting Hat: i'm sorry to hear that. i know the best place for you.  GRYFFINDOR!

The hat is removed from her head. She then walks to the Gryffindor table. She sits down and is slightly sad.

*After sorting and the fiest*
Lily is sitting in her Dorm she shares with Hermione. She is sitting on her bed. She is listening to her music.

Hermione comes over. She sits one Lily's bed. Lily takes her headphones off.

Lily: hi

Hermione: hi, are you ok? you look a bit upset

Lily: i'm ok, just didn't expect the hat to mention my Mum. i never knew her, i was left on my dad's door step as a baby.

Hermione: i'm sure she cares about you

Lily: she doesn't. she said in her letter to Dad that she never wanted me, that she wishes she never had me.

Hermione: how can a mother say that about her daughter?

Lily because she was only 20 when she had me, she was drunk and sleot with my dad, 9 months later i popped out. the rest is history.

Hermiome: at least your dad was there for you

Lily: yeah, there is that. had to raise 2 kids alone

Hermione: do you have a sibling?

Lily: no, i assume you know about Harry

Hermione: who doesn't?

Lily: well he ended up with me and my Dad, he raised Harry as if he was his own.

Hermione: so in a way you had a brother

Lily: i guess so

The girls spend the rest of the night talking. After a couole of hours they decide to got to bed. They both quickly fall asleep.
